I didn't know about uncle acid until I saw them opening for Black Sabbath in Amsterdam a few years ago. When a band opens for Black Sabbath, you just know they are going to kick ass. And they did. I was there with my brother and I smoked much weed.
Should've gotten some mushrooms bro. They have really high quality shrooms in the Netherlands. Idk if the laws have changed at all. But I spent my last semester of college in Leiden. It's near Amsterdam. Anyway. During that time, it was only legal to sell the truffles (part that grows underground). Still really high quality and potent. But could only buy fresh truffles. Nothing dried and no caps.
The attention to detail is impeccable. I'm so happy to see Gen Z discover the genius of Black Sabbath and so many other essential bands. Emotional honesty not to mention integrity in one's work is important and Uncle Acid drips all the above. This OLD rocker tips my hat to these young gentlemen. It's time for our generation to step aside and let these young people lead the way for rock. Long live Uncle Acid.
These musicians are either millennials or very young gen x. Either way... I agree that it's nice to see doom metal influence continue through the generations
Damn Skippy bro, so much good shit, I discover pretty much everything new these days through Fenriz of Darkthrone's band of the week Facebook page and soundcloud radio show including Uncle Acid!
Honestly, it's all coming back now. These passed few years have been fucking kind as compared to the huge damn blackout of good music for a while there.
Dude, these guys really know how to pull off 70's era stoner rock throwback. Dope af. Los natas psychedelia meets kyuss' groove with vintage sounding vocals. My new favorite band. Gonna be getting me back into stoner rock
I love Uncle Acid. Been listening to them since Blood Lust came out, and I got a chance to see them live shortly after this album came out. Such an awesome show!
It also accured to me that the vocals sound like King Crimson's 21st Century Schizoid Man but instead of Greg Lake singing he gets swapped with one of The Beatles.
Last September my friend and i went into our local used Cd store. This ass kicking music was playing in the store what caught me were the Black Sabbath like Guitar Riffs. That was when we discovered Uncle Acid, my buddy bought The Night Creeper cd that day i think it cost him $20. Even though it is a used place the newer cd's cost more. I think the album had only been out like two weeks. I liked what i heard but didn't wanna drop $20 so the next mix cd i made i threw a few tunes on it. Fast forward to about 6 hours ago i was in Value Village (chain of Thrift Stores) they have used cd's there. I found a copy of The Night Creeper it is absolute mint condition the cd has not one mark. I could not believe it and all it cost me was $2. I rarely give new bands a chance actually i never give new band's a chance. Call it stupid i dont care there is enough Classic Rock and obscure music from the best two decades in music 60's & 70's. Every now and then i hear something new that grabs me Uncle Acid did.

+Nervous Curtains They are playing LEVITATION 2016 in Austin, Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys, The Black Angels, Ty Segall, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, La Luz, Twin Peaks, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and Allah-Las will also be there. If you have a chance to go I'd take it.
Saw them in Denver recently. Was a fucking blast. Took a few grams of shrooms and smoked a fat joint beforehand One of the best live bands I've seen. Right up there with Mastodon, Deerhunter, and Grizzly Bear.
I despise them too. every era has crappy music. I was a teenager in early 90s, i had to put up with MC hammer, backstreet boys, right said fred and a whole crapload of corny dance/pop music that my peers listened too. ppl say the 60s music was the best but for every voodoo child there was 10 more mrs brown you've got a lovely daughter
BLOOD CEREMONY *Eldritch* *Dark* is optimal with candles and incense and absinthe. Or just BBQ'ing with the family. HUNTRESS *Static* is premium road music; high-energy, high-on-life, mad in love, manic metal, the best thing in that vein since Metallica or Judas Priest or Rainbow. GHOST *Meliora* is legitimately evil I think (as UNCLE ACID is)-- but at the same time they induce a sentimental mood. ELECTRIC WIZARD *Black* *Masses*. Also evil $#*^; also gets me in that nostalgic drinking mood. Not a new band by any means, but one that fits well with the musical zeitgeist. RUBY THE HATCHET *Valley* *of* *the* *Snake*. Jesus, makes me want to go back in time to when I lived in Yosemite Valley with a beautiful park ranger (also: defiled/"christened" every hot spring in southern CA). LORD! I declare, rock really turned out to not be dead after all. I dare anyone to listen to any of those aforementioend albums and tell me the artists in question are not master songwriters, and possessed of a grit and puissance and gravitas long thought extinct in the blighted new millenium's rock & roll world. HAIL!
Everyone should go onto the Facebook pages of just about every bullshit artist they can think of - Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, DNCE, et al - and post this song on their wall. Maybe, we can get millennials to start appreciating good music. REAL music!
I watched the Grammy's for 5 minutes, had to come here and clean my ears
😂😂
This is true definitely - mainstream is all bout money, nothing else. Here you have real feelings.

This is absolutely wonderful.
Another Psych Rock Fan I'm well aware.

I know I heard someone playing their tunes long ago but I actually just found them, thumbing along through music, on here!
Fuck. Yes. Finally
The voices go perfectly with the song, too amazing I am hooked❤,
I hear a slight Ozzy 70s voice here, and I know Ozzy.
One of my favorite songs :)
I dig this band! Their music is so heavy & the vocals are melodic and really unique! The vocal and guitar harmonies are AWESOME! \m/
His voice just gets better with every release
