@@doc7austin actually the second class compartment cars on this train (first three on the direct one to Vienna) are all ex-ÖBB. You can easily recognize them by the shape, the seats and double folding tray tables under the windows, and usually also by the door system.

Oh, amazing video of this train called Silva Nortica! Thank you. This train/service was crowded during Summer. I guess that it's not that popular during the winter time. The extension to Vienna is an initiative of the Wardviertel region in Austria to promote tourism and cross-country movement of tourists, it was not meant as an end to end (Prague-Vienna) alternative to the main corridor but it works and I personally love this route. It goes through Třeboň and Gmünd, my favorite towns.

@@doc7austin It's a tiny spa town with very nice historical center. Very similar to Tabor, just in a smaller scale. There are many ponds and lakes around the city so there are many walk and bike paths. Very similar description would fit Gmünd. It's great to compare these cities in one day to see the similarities between Austria/Czechia.

The ideal locomotive for the entire route is a DB Baureihe 102 CD Baureihe 380 that way it can run 15kv 16.7hz AC 25kv 50hz and 3kv DC. Note that the kilometer zero in Prague Central Station isn't set there but Vienna Central Station the Legacy Austria-Hungary KkStb. IC531 if running longer it would have a Zürich Hauptbahnhof Feldkirch Bludenz Innsbruck Hbf via the Arlbergbahn. Which will require it to have the CD Baureihe 380 trailing behind the Taurus locomotives 182 183 1016-1216 locos for the Steep section between Bludenz & Innsbruck Hbf
