Hi love your videos, great to see you still get excited about catching fish. I plan to visit friends in Sussex April / May and thought i would bring my kayak. I noticed on your vids from Shoreham that you launch from the harbor. Is that because the beach is difficult to launch from or is it more to do with logistics ? ( free safe parking , close access to water etc.) Hope to hear back from you. Thanks Andrew
Hi Andrew, thanks for your comments, with regards to fishing at shoreham, I generally launch from the harbour because if it gets choppy the harbour is always safe for landing the yak, and the parking is free! I do sometimes launch from the church of the good shepherd on shoreham beach, this has a nice reef in front of it some 400yrds off, but I only launch here if forecast good and flat calm! Hope this helps
Hi Thanks for getting back so quickly really appreciate it. Do you mind me asking for the name of the road or the what3words address for the parking please ? Do you ever fish any other marks along the south coast there like Kingmere rocks off Rustington ? According to the charts it's about 4 miles to the edge of it, do you think that's to far ? I also looked at Kingston rocks just west of Goring very close inshore , have you ever fished there ? Thanks Andrew
@Andrew-jc2rq only ever fished kingmere from a charter boat, think a little to far for us yaks, bognor rocks is work a go, reef close in and some decent bream wrasse and bass. ruclips.net/video/3BlNV3xPPmY/видео.htmlsi=B_gZDea7gOr_uQWA Harbour way I park in shoreham, yatch club to the right
That's great thanks. I will give Shoreham a go and if the weather is kind try Kingston Rocks off Goring and let you know how I get on👍 @@targetfishing5286
Hi just watched your vid from Bognor rocks, cracking ballan. Looking at what you had to negotiate on the way out and back in I think 4 miles out to Kingmere rocks would be the safer option as opposed to the mine field you went through !! I couldn't help noticing that you were in your old Viking, would you be happy taking that same route in your pedal drive Galaxy ? 🤣🤣 If you had someone with a sib that could escort you to and from Kingmere rocks do you think that would be an option ? Would make an great vid.
