You are totally right, it is a fish-eye lense. The styling and camera work and set design is SO y2k, they have pulled it off perfectly for this MV. They referenced 2000s western boybands, popular hiphop videos, (yes, fight club!), Matrix, first gen Kpop, and more. And the boys themselves delivered it with such POWER. It is so flawlessly executed. I'm definitely in awe as well.
Heeseung does reference the blue pill ("Luxury draped on my body, blinding me like a blue pill") - that's a quick catch based on their outfits as a visual reference. You're very astute on the cultural references - Digimon/Matrix/Fight Club, the round lamps, the fish-eye lens, the retro hip-hop outfits, the Gen1 outfits. I'm not sure how this song fits into their "vampire" concept; it's more of a statement. Considering how commodified they've become (and perhaps they're feeling that based on the lyrics), I'm surprised that their agency/producers are OK with the guys venting in this way and then selling it. It's like a vicious cycle. I understand it's a "concept" but Big Hit has been known to encourage their artists (like BTS) to share their thoughts through their music. Granted, ENHYPEN are not the writers/producers of their music as BTS are with their music. It's a little confusing.
I think it fits the vampire concept since presumably they didn't choose to be vampires. So at first they were Given-Taken so they have powers but it comes with a cost. They became Drunk-Dazed with a Fever & overwhelmed by their bloodlust, then Tamed-Dashed in remembrance of what they had lost but energized by new sensations. Now they are feeling Blessed-Cursed, recovered enough to begin coming into their own, fighting back, & taking control of their destiny again. Lol, anyway that's how I took it.

The early 2000s outfits and styling look so good on them. This style and sound fit them so well. And as someone who was a teenager in the late 90s/early 2000s I grew up loving boybands. And so seeing my new favourite group almost paying homage to my old favourite groups adds this sentimental feel to this MV for me. So the mix of emotions I'm feeling right now is a bit overwhelming. It makes me think of whose discography I really thoroughly enjoy and why I want to put my money into it. 2. I only buy ONE version of the album. So I look at the concept photos and choose the one I like best.
i was 11 in 2000 and their outfit is totally Y2K style,,, coz i still have my jeans that are in style of the one jay use in the song intro, and their outfit is how my style since my teenage years (the trousers, the jacket, oversized suit, etc) its feel nostalgic to see this kind of style coz thats the era when im start to interested in grooming myself,,, hybe look like making time travel since dynamite,,, and this boys is the represent of millenial vibes (all those silvers in colors is the icon of milenial)
