    Dear Teacher, I tried to see your name or other info from the main channel page, but didn't see any info.
    Thank you for your efforts in sharing your expertise on youtube.
    For this example, you would probably want to change the independent and dependent variables, it really makes a lot more sense to suggest that spending more on advertising would lead to more sales rather than the converse. I see you mentioned it at the end. : )

    so if the correlation coefficient is close to -1 and the regression line has a negative slope that’s good?

      If the slope is negative, the correlation coefficient has to be negative too. The closer the correlation is to + or - 1, the stronger the relationship is between the two variables. If it's close to negative 1, then you have a strong negative association.

    You can just hit y and then 1 and it'll subscript it too, automatically.
