I thought it would be fun to compare both the revair reverse dryer to the revlon one step hair dryer!

For those of you who have concerns about the revair side, it was on the highest setting with the highest heat. ☺️Also I am just a RUclipsr showing you MY results. If you want to speak about other people’s results please go to them and talk about it. I mean that with love. My honesty is all I have on my channel 🤷🏽♀️☺️❤️
Christine Amor honestly great review... I’m so glad I watched this video.... I watched a lot of videos on the revair and I didn’t see any cons.... I was thinking it was the best thing since sliced bread... but finally I seen someone with my hair texture. And your not bashing the hairdryer you actually SHOWED and honest review. Thanks girl and keep doing your thing
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
How many heat settings do they have?
Is there any heat damage from the Revlon brush and what is your hair protection routine before blow drying? Thanks so much for the video
😎👍🏽👍🏽✌🏽👏🏽👏🏽
if i'm using $400 for a damn dryer, it better make my hair look like i have a relaxer, AND protect my curls lbs
Girl facts 😭😭😂😂
Lmao right exactly 💯😂
Right! 400 is a ridiculous amount but it’s marketed to salon owners.
Exactly why would I pay $400 for a dryer if I have to flatiron my hair to get a silk press anyway? RevAir should do it all and curl too!
🤣😂 "She didn't get far in life. Her, she's flourishing, she's living her best life, drinking water"
This was the first video I have seen on this channel. That line made me subscribe. 🤣
Yeah that was funny as hell
The Revlon brush side looks 💯 times better.. AND tangled free.. so after seeing your review I'll go with the Revlon blow dryer brush🤔 Save them mfkn COINS!
Ausetify 😂😂 yes girl
@@ChristineAmor 💕
Lol😆
I have about a foot of hair on the top only and that Revlon thing gets HOT in a good way. LOL 5 minutes and I'm bone straight. Ppl have stopped me on the street to ask if I flat iron or even permed.
For me, the Revlon brush was the best blow out ive ever had, but it caused more split ends unfortunately. In that respect, it's not something I'll use regularly 😕
Well made video.
Another important point for the RevAir is that it requires low to no manipulation. The brush dryer requires constant manipulation. Some hair types, like my 4c, are badly damaged with constant brushing or combing.
I received my RevAir 11/28/18. It’s now 12/13/18. I’ve used it twice. I am completely impressed.
The brush blower would be convenient for traveling because there’s no way the RevAir will fit in my carry-on.
You literally have to comb your hair first before you use it so your still manipulating it eitherr wayy
@@Thattgirllkayyyou should detangle it. You don’t have to comb it. And she said no to LOW manipulation. With the brush blow dryer, you’re constantly brushing it as opposed to combing it once.
"She's living her best life!!" 😂😂 I have the $40 one and it has been a LIFE SAVER! Btw, I have 4C hair
Thanks for your input as well!
Where did you buy it from?
What is 4c hair? Sorry if thats a dumb question
@@misscindy1596 very tight curls/kinky haie
@@misscindy1596 its not a dumb question love...4c is a curl pattern that consists of coils. the hair strand is almost literally curled within itself....It also gives the owner a BIG LESSON in Patience and Gentleness😂😁....That is if they want it to grow healthy and strong😊❤️....
I have both hair dryers and I love my Rev Air. You have to figure out the ideal settings and technique for your type of hair, but once you do, the results are fabulous. If you want bone straight hair, however, the Rev Air won’t give that to you, but it will get your roots to some degree. I start on a low setting and then increase the heat to finish my hair off.
Omg finally a real, thorough review of the Revair. I’m so glad you did this because I love my Relvon dryer and will be saving my money 😩🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Enjoyed seeing your comparison of both, think the Revlon would be good for traveling for work or fun. I’m sure someone’s mentioned it already, but the revair works better when the section is combed first. It’s great that there are so many options to choose from, instead of the long, back in the day process ♥️.
I add this vacuum dryer to my Christmas list I hint hint to hubby.. now it’s totally drop , I just add the Revlon blow dryer to my basket .. I watch and was very impressed how you carried the demonstration across.. I had to subscribe Thanks so much .
Thank you for your honesty!! I am also tender headed and I get a lot of crap. I hate when people rip and pull at my hair. Much love and you just earned my subscription! Can't wait to see your other videos. ❤❤
I just bought the Revlon drier a few weeks ago and I am so glad I did!! My hair was poppin’ til the snow came yesterday LOL
I agree! I purchased the brush and I love it! ❤❤❤. Super easy! My twin daughters are 12 and they can blow dry their own hair as well because it's so easy. Great video!💯
I recently bought the Revlon one and I love it. My hair gets dry super quick and it gives a good blow out.
Thank you for an HONEST, unbiased comparison!
Its really about preference , I like the revair for the simple fact I don’t have to constantly comb my hair after detangling . I wear my hair in twist and sometimes it late so air drying isn’t an option , plus sitting under the hooded dryer is a hassle because my hair in the back isn’t dry. With the revair I can dry my twist and elongate them w/o much manipulation. I wouldn’t compare it to a brush or a comb attachment seeing that each dryer can achieve different looks .
Definitely just became a subscriber simply based off your honesty!!! Thanks for keeping it real I will be buying that revlon one step hair dryer because of you 😋
This was the first video I actually saw someone comparing that Revair dryer. Great video
You are the real deal girl! Love your honesty!
Dang! I wanted to see your hair coming out of the Revair. 👀 I also wanted to see if you had any hair in the brush attachment versus the Revair. 👀 Thanks for taking your time to share this information
Thanks for your honest reviews. I’m about to order the Revlon brush.
08902 NJ wait till Black Friday it's gonna be 20$ at ulta
I love the Revlon Blow Dryer Brush. Hair feels so soft after using it!
I love it too, girl.
Plus it is $360 less expensive.
First time watcher here. Thank you for being truthful about your natural hair journey. I’m done with hair gurus saying: “I’ve been natural for six months” and their hair is way down their back. I’m like...just stop lying! 😂 I loved the honesty and your beautiful hair. SUBSCRIBED. 😁
Thank you so much hun I appreciate you!
I cry too girl!😭 Since I'm grown now I detangle my hair beforehand to spare me the humiliation in the salon. Lol
LovlyDarkBeauty lol
The revlon blow dryer brush has become one of my holy grails 🙌🏾
Finally, a video that really puts both blow dryers to a true test. Well done.
I’m a first time viewer of you channel. SUBSCRIBED!! Awesome review
I’ve FINALLY found my hair twin! Now I know where to go for product/tool reviews
Thanks for this! I was thinking about getting the revair and now I’m going to stick to my Revlon Brush. I just did a video on the Revlon brush and I love it! Thanks again!❤
Thanks for this review! Hair is just flourishing girl!
Thanks so much girl! ☺️
This review compelled me to subscribe - other videos unseen. I, too, have seen another very popular review but pause in taking it as gospel. Your hair type is much more like mine and my daughter's. I used the Revlon 1-Step for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it changed my whole attitude about blowing out my hair. It didn't pull. It was soft. It wasn't dry. Apples to apples, I appreciate the comparison. Technique may matter as some say but you not agreeing with someone else doesn't make you wrong.
Off topic, but you’re gorgeous. Loved your review/breakdown! You talked about topics most videos have missed.
I love my brush dryer. I've had it for over a year and love it. I can't get over the $400 price for the other unless black Friday 2019 has a 75% off sale😁😁😁
I LOVE this video. lol omg.. "she's living her best life, she's drinking water"!! SUBBED!
I would really like to see this on a twist out.
You put twist in your hair while wet, then you use the hair dryer and after, you take the twist out.
I wonder what the results would look like.
If you have time one day do you mind trying?
necilya fr nobody doing this
Yea! I think also that the blow dryer would straighten it a little so it would help with more elongation of the twist out! Hopes she tries it.
I think you're on to something
I like the way u think.....
necilya naptural85 has tested that method if you want to see her results
This is my first time watching you & I’m staying! This is the first time I’ve seen this,so when I see it again,I’ll know who inspired it! I asked for a Revlon brush for my birthday,I can’t wait! Thanks for this review!
The Revlon brush seems like the better buy all the way around. My daughters are super tender headed, no tears with the revlon. Helps detangle, dries quickly...best 35 bucks I spent for hair product. I couldn't justify spending 400 bucks even if I had it to shave off 2 min of hair drying time. The other side didn't look completely dry in the front either. I'd say buy 10 revlon dryers before you buy one of the other.
I bought the Revlon Air for £25 on special on Amazon I haven't used it yet you made me happy with my purchase. I'll try the Chi protectant thanks.
She didn’t get far in life. Too funny
Amen that Revlon dryer is a one stop shop detangle, dries so quick and smooths the hair. My hair feels like butter and I have 4b/4c hair.
Thanks for you input. You guys are really helping me make the decision to get this dryer👍
You didn’t brush your hair in between blowing
I have the Revlon blow dryer brush and I must say, it's a life saver. Plus it's fast, easy and not too expensive.
Does it cause any heat damage?
@@blackbeauty8685 I just started using it so I'm not sure but, I use a heat protector first.
@black beauty, yes, it does cause heat damage.
THANK YOU for making this video. saving my coins and getting with revlon!
Glad you did a comparison btw these two. I actually like the Revlon side better cause it seems smoother
nice glasses!!! they suit you so well
I think it goes without saying that you have to comb your hair once you use the revair blow dryer because, unlike the revlon brush blow dryer, it doesn’t have a brush or comb attachment.
So with those who use the revair blow dryer successfully, they just simply comb it and it’s fine.
Thank you so much for this comparison! I was wondering the difference
Thank you for this! I think the revair is for me. I have the Revlon one but it’s not good for my breakage. Time to start saving up for Revair!
Same. It's too much damage with the Revlon, you have to go over the same strand so many times and the hair needs to be in direct contact with the dryer at all times...also so much tugging and pulling's ripping my hair out.
I'm thinking of getting the revair for Xmas so I've been watching reviews and I believe the results will be much better using the other tips I've seen (detangling first, holding it directly to the scalp to get the roots, trying out the different settings). Excited to try something new!
Thank you so much for this. My baby girl has your hair type and I need another hair dryer with a sturdy comb
Omg THANK YOU FOR YOUR TOTAL HONESTY CAUSE THE OTHER NATURAL HAIR RUclipsRS DONT COMMENT ON THE ROOTS BEING STRAIGHT CAUSE ITS NOT GETTING STRAIGHT FOR 400$ AND BEING 4C THATS A BIG ONE WHEN BLOW DRYING...THANK YOU. YOUR HONESTY MAKES ME WANT TO UNSUBSCRIBE TO THE OTHER NATURAL HAIR RUclipsRS ESPECIALLY 4C CAUSE THIS 400$ BLOW DRYER DO NOT WORK FOR 4C HAIR ROOTS for 4c youtubers to be promoting this blow dryer
Buying the Revlon for my 4b/4c teenage girls' hair!👊🏾 Thanks for the review!!
Lmao! I fell out when you said she didn't get far in life. I needed that. Whew!
You just gained a subbie thank you so much for being honest !!!
I just purchased a RevAir in 2022 and I can't wait to use it. Do you still use your RevAir. I could not tell if you were pumping your dryer because you didn't show that but I heard that you're not supposed to do that. Maybe going up and down the side to side along the roots would help get the roots straighter!
Yass love this video, me and my Revlon are living our best life😂
Which setting did you have the revair blow dryer set to? I was reading one link saying those getting are for tension..
I will never dry my hair without my revlon one step blow dryer brush!!! It’s so fast and straightening after isn’t necessary 😊💕
I have the Revlon brand & just ordered the Revair with their Black Friday promo. I'm excited to use it especially on my daughter (who is tender headed). The Revlon gets very hot (makes me worry about heat damage) & the repetitive brushing makes me worried about breakage.
How much was it with the black Friday promo?
Hi just wanted to follow up on this to see if it’s helping with your daughter. My daughter is tender headed as well.
@@alwaysvictorioushighlyfavo6065 I don't know if you'll see this in time but they have a sale going on rn $349 with extra gifts and I think an additional 10 percent off with a special code ( the code should pop up when you visit the site) this specific sale I believe ends on 1/1/21
Updates?
I saw where someone uses a drying brush (denmen) after it's it's dry then go back in for 30 seconds on high heat with the Revair, and the result was 100% better..
Natural Noony that sounds cool but for $400 that’s an extra step that everyone may not want to take
The Revlon side looks better. That's also what I mentioned on a different channel about that same over priced dryer: FRIZZ at the roots. So I will stick with my hand held with the comb attachment. I'm buying that Revlon dryer though.
I was looking for a video like this and finally found it!!!
I LOVE my Revlon hair brush! LMBO "She didn't get far in life." Haaa! Your hair is beautiful lady!
You made a good point about the heat damage I think I want to try it because I don’t have much time to do my hair I have 2 babies
A good and highly objective review. Enjoyed it👍👍👍
I was considering the rev air (once the price went down) but after watching this video, and comparing the two on your hair, I think I will stick with my Revlon brush lol. Thanks for sharing ☺
lol thanks for watching!
Then you will be burning your hair with Revlon
Revair doesn't give heat damage
@@altheadawn2531 You know what, you are so right. I posted this a while back. I ended up buying the revair anyways and I absolutely love it, still to this day. When I get a chance I going to buy the new smaller one. I found that the revlon brush over time damaged my hair. I don't even use it anymore.
@@MzRubyGlass Yay 😁 I'm so happy to hear that! I know your hair is long, healthy and gorgeous 😊I want to buy a revair for myself too but I have to wait a bit to save up the money to buy it. I can't wait to buy mines ☺️
@@altheadawn2531 I can't wait till you get yours 🙂. You're going to love it. Revair did their thing with this one.
Thank you for your honest review and comparison.
This a great review! So detailed and a great comparison.
FeliciaMarieTV thanks for watching!❤️
So happy i came across you channel. Love the video. New subbie
Good review. I'm still not sure but u did a great review. I see others doing their hair on yt with the revair and theirs is straight. Maybe it's the technique.
I felt like you were detailed on the Revlon dryer and not the other one.
nitza diaz Sorry you feel that way from this detailed review but there is also another review if you felt like you didn’t get the answers you needed
Yeah I feel the same way. Other tubers hair looked a lot better than yours when they used the rev. Not sure I trust your comparison or review!
Adrienne Whiting everyone's hair is different
@@adriennewhiting4860 Perhaps they were sponsored by Revair…!
You going to have me order the reckon blow dryer with the brush!💜
Thank you girl! I really need this❤
Great video! Hair looks beautiful and I can relate cause I'm tender-headed 😀
What brand are your glasses? I've been looking for frames like those forever!!
your eye make up is fierce girl! preach that truth!
Thank You! I just ordered the Revlon one step.😜
I have the same revelon brush ..and I love it
Excellent comparison. Thank you.
Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for posting this!!!💜
How do yo keep your ends healthy and straight? My hair grows but my ends break off.
I have the Revlon dryer I brought it from Ulta and used the 20% coupon I paid 17 dollars i love it and I wish I brought two while it was on sale best blow dryer and doesn't damage my hair .....
Thank you! Going to get the brush! 🙌🏾
Hey ty sis u really gave an honest tutorial on both products and helped me on making my final decision ... love ur hair by the way😉
Thanks for this review! Don’t have much money at my disposal right now but am trying to get serious about caring for my hair. Can’t afford that revair right now.
Okay so that looks like a vacuum cleaner and I’m amazed 😂 it looked like magic that might be worth $400 but the Revlon side had more bounce 🥰
Beautiful glasses.
Beautiful you.
Beautiful hair.
With the chi silk infusion, does it say infra under chi? I'm having trouble finding the real one.
Your hair is so beautiful omg. #goals
Yr hair is so beautiful girl😍🙌🏼
WOOOOOW! thank you. Brush it is. But that cool drying is very inviting. ❤😇
What number did you put it on it should be high heat and #7 for tight curly hair
Greetings. I am noticing several reviews for this device. The results are longer drying time due to smaller sections needed, a stiffer look than washing, stretching and low heat hair drying using the same product.
Just got my 40 dollar Revlon, can't wait to wash my hair and try it 😊
"She's living her best life..." 😂😂😂
Your glasses are soo cute. Where did you get them. Please give details
I absolutely love your glasses, where are they from??
Do you blow dry your hair every time? Just to make your hair more manageable to deal with when styling?
For my understanding, the hair needs to be touch by the brush bristles to make the hair silky and shiny.
I recommend the airbrush.
Thanks for showing side by side comparison...
