@@dianashairpalace okay so I’m back! I tried doing your method. And it’s a little tricky. When I would try to add the part of hair that was flipped up, once added it kinda slipped. Maybe it depends on how much product is being used? But like you said it might take a couple of tries.

Yes! It has to be done with a firm grip.
Also you can try, when adding the top strand down, try not pulling it down, just lay it, use the tail of your comb to tuck it in, then proceed twisting. Thank you for your feedback
