Bad pod Back Side on top.
please add graphics. it is hard for us to remember the names
Lewis with the best New Balance promo going, that cap has given him a brain
Foden is so good that he's learnt to play two positions.
He’s played many times at LW, RW, False 9 and in the midfield.
2 positions? Gotta double that.
Why has Lewis got better??????
Because he’s improved and played more and better aswell
Better as in not ill?
@@XJokermanXnot retarded
Because he couldn't get worse
palmer playing for chelsea who have no creativity and no one who can finish is way more impressive than foden. I was a palmer hater at first saying he only scored pens and was overrated but since the turn of the year i’ve seen more of him and he runs games. Foden has been class aswell but think about how many chances foden gets to score or assist, how many times does he get in a position where he can lay it off to kdb or haaland and they’ll just score it, also running onto kdb, bernardo, grealish’s passes, palmer has to run onto passes from mudryk and enzo😭.
the everton game changed my mind on palmer, that first goal was too cold
@@hadisyed5384 exactly bro, it’s easy to watch highlights and say he only scores pens and stuff but he’s been dirty all season, the way he turned rodri who’s been flawless all season was amazing
@@LordSeth-hf8ew at what point did i say that?
He doesn’t actually he’s overperorming his xg by like +5 at least. So the opportunities he’s getting he’s taking. And it works both ways Yh palmer is surrounded by crap but that also means everything goes through him he’s the final ball guy. At city e.g he wouldn’t take pens, and more times than not the system would be for Kdb to take the final pass not him. So would he have the same impact? It’s debatable cause he wouldn’t be on the ball nearly as much
@@GOATZELWARDBANDWAGON. palmers on the ball more? i completely disagree, when kdb plays foden will have it less but kdb hasn’t played 90 minutes a lot this season so when foden is playing basically as a 10 which has been the majority of the season he’s on the ball constantly
People don’t understand with foden. If he just dropped off the face of the earth, man city will still be this good. Palmer out of Chelsea’s team and they finish bottom half
Doesn’t change the fact that Foden is better. Just because he’s in a better team. This isn’t a sympathy award
Just shows u dont watch city this season foden has literally carried city, and if you say he hasn't then your literally calling the likes of Thierry Henry ect a liar
No they wouldn’t 😭
this is fodens first season where he’s actually been allowed to start games for city. finally a key player at 24, 6 seasons after his debut
and if you put foden in chelsea's squad he'd do the exact same
Really just reiterated the same points for 5 mins cheers lads
Foden literally played over 50 games this season, how Is he not a first choice player 😂
Because Kevin was injured
@@jakehickey1365 even after kdb came back they still played together
Tell me Theo didn’t just say Foden shouldn’t win it because we don’t know what his best position is. Wtf has that got to do with it he’s been insane all year hands down deserves to win both awards
not saying to win but murillo got to have a mention
Great video
The Udogie disrespect is wild
UNLUCKY THEO BUDDY. TEARS ON SUNDAY WILL BE FUCKING AMAZING
No on screen graphics? Why?
Reckon the prem should bin young player of the year award off and do an nba style rookie of the year.
fodens so versatile he could probably do a shift in net😂
Should be a breakout star award like a young plur who may like play 20 odd games as a sub but play well for their age as such and young player of the year like ya sakas palmers n fodens
I think it has to be Palmer tbh. What he is doing surrounded by ghosts and turds is incredible
I just saw, good game to play would be “where did they leave to”
Surely Harvey Elliot could have been mentioned as he was 20 at the start of the season
Funny they spent all podcast trying to wind Lewis up and he didn’t bite once 😂
VAN DE VEN AND SARR
Foden deserves player of the season so by default he’s the young POTS too
Everyone will say look at the players foden has around him but fsils to realise that foden has literally been carrying that city team this season. If you dont think that then your literally calling the likes of thierry henry ect a liar
Normally just laugh at theo and move on but saying Foden shouldn’t have it because “he isn’t man city’s first choice in any position” is just stupid. Foden is first choice for the team, when De Bruyne was out the team ran through him and now he’s back he’s utilised just as well in a different position, his ability to play so well in both is the reason he deserves the award.
I don’t think they know that you can only win the golden boy once
1. Palmer
2. Foden
3. Saliba
4. Haaland
5. Saka
6. Olise
7. Gordon
8. Isak
9. Mainoo
10. Van De Ven
CITEH CITEH CITEH
Foden has only been class since February he scored half his goals/assists since then
Jarrell Quansah.
Sorry off topic from the pod, Ben White 2nd best right back has to be the worst shout of all time hahahahahahahahahaha Reev stinker
Foden hasn't been doing this for years, he literally could barely get a game
Should be breakout player (first proper season) not age based
That should be a different award
Palmer over foden is correct
ofc u think that ur a united fan
@@2gda i obviously think foden is better but he shouldn’t be getting awarded young player award at 23
Haaland won pots last season but not young player , they don’t give the award to both anymore
Morgan Rogers..... He will become one of the best mark my words. Jhon Duran close second
Harvey Elliot going under the radar
Why does Lewis actually make sense? First time for everything
Foden to win POTY and Palmer to win YPOTY
how tf has saka hd a beeter season than haaland
I agree with Lewis, foden shouldn’t even qualify for young player he’s got kids ffs
ye no Eliiot is crazy
Rlly isn’t mate
Coming from a villa fan, from what I’ve seen from him this season and what I watched the other night against us, he really does go under the radar, ran the show against us going forward only thing that lets him down is his defensive work, gets too wound up when he can’t get the ball and often leads to giving up a foul but other than that he’s the real deal
The recency bias is crazy. Guys done fuck all most of the season
@@bifftannen2696Just hasn't done fuck all though has he, literally had to try and fill Salahs boots whilst he was injured 😂
@@lewiseverett2588 yeah sure great point mate. he definitely filled his boots with 3 goals and 5 assists
Young player of the season should be breakout player of the season instead or if you win it once you can’t win it again
Foden not first choice in any position 😂 bald boring baker
think also once someone has won young player they cant be nominated again
Haaland won player of the season last year and was nominated for young, yet saka won the young player. So palmer can win it this season if foden wins the main one
Haaland wasn’t eligible for the PFA young player award last season but he did win the PL young player award sponsored by hublot (tm)
Lewis W
Gotta be Phil foden
Palmer easily
Foden is just 24 , isak is nearly 25 , theyre not young players
24 and under reev
1:11 Ruben Dias has NEVER won the EPL Young POTY wtf is Reev on about?
He won the overall POTY award as a 23 year old.
u can’t win player of the season and youngest player of the season, the player of the season is announced then if they qualify for youngest aswell they’ll just give it to the second
Haaland won poty last year but saka won ypoty do ya research lads😂
@@TP-pq9xx I agree w that i think that makes no sense, was just pointing it out😂
@@steliosmargaritis5389 I was mistaken. Haaland actually did win this award last year, the Hublot young player award which has only existed for a few years. And has an age 23 limit.
The PFA young player award that has been around since the 1970s has already changed its age limit to 21 at the beginning of the season so Haaland wasn’t eligible for that one.
Palmer stat for stat bums foden
cause palmer has 10 pens why does no one know this
@@2gdapens are goals mate
COME ON YOU SPURS. DOING US ALL A FAVOUR
Bit late lad
How ya saying mainoo he's played less than half the season what close to a quarter right? He is phenomenal how can he be young player of the season ?
morgan rogers
Palmer has had a better season than foden
Awards (Imo):
POTS: Ollie Watkins
YPOTS: Foden (since he's still in that age bracket)
The main young player of the season award is the PFA award and the age limit is 21 at the start of the season. Foden isn’t eligible and this is the last season that Saka or Palmer can win it.
@@TP-pq9xx Well, in that case, Palmer should be the clear favorite for the award, and should probably win it (even though I think that he is an overrated player overall).
@@Young_Brumm15 Palmer has obviously had the best season but I think him Saka and Gordon are all around the same level.
And I think Doku has a higher ceiling than any of them.
@@TP-pq9xx See, with Jeremy Doku, I can't tell how good he'll be. Because in the first 10-15 games he was just tearing up defenses left and right with his dribbling, and then after that his performances kinda tailed off for a bit. But that may be down to first Prem season symptoms, and he may just need to adjust.
As a shot creating winger, who can get his players in the best position to score, I think he'll do well. As a true scorer himself, I personally am not sure🤷
@@Young_Brumm15 Yeah I mean, Doku has only played 1500 minutes and he is still blowing away not just the premier league but all top 5 European leagues in the dribbling statistics. I can't remember seeing someone as explosive as him. And the player in second place in Europe for the most progressive dribbles is Savio. Doku and Savio could be on either wing for City next season just creating havoc.
1. Saka
2. Haaland
The rest.
Smoking that crack
neither are top 3
@@adambassuni6084
Deluded.
Saka isn’t even the top 5 young players in the league this season.
@@Nightsu He's the best player in the league let alone young player
