Reading for some of 30 years dozens of books about WWII and how politics are downplayed, I am pretty sure Heydrich was killed because he (a ruthless criminal) puts the economy in order, all the workers in Czechoslovakia were having their normal incomes, clothes, fuel, and food normally distributed, schools and hospitals functioning normally.
That immobilized resistance guerrillas, because lacking manpower, all men were occupied and interested in a normal living...that was the actual reason for killing Heydrich, any other explanation was a lie.
This is the correct reason and Netflix's Hitler circle of evil documentary also mentions this reason.

Though the main reason was Heydrich was about to move to France to neutralise France partisans as well as British intelligence network. British chose the plan and the target. Heydrich wasn't only a high-ranking administrative official, he was also the head of the SD counter-intelligence. He wanted to set up his network in France and neutralise the western front.

But Heydrich disarmed all resistance movements reactivating the conomy with simlar salaries and employment before invasion in Czech...that was a danger move for allies.
Heydrich was killed because he was a Nazi ruling the Czech Republic, and the Czech resistance and the Allies didn't like that.
