As someone who works at Jollibee's in the USA: All an American would order is a Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe without any tomato. Sometimes a combo with fries and a soda, sometimes just the sandwich. Jolibee has always had western style food. Idk why people think it's traditional Filipino food place. Though the spaghetti is Filipino style not Italian which is sweet and cheesy. The burgers and fried chicken were a staple of the chain for the longest time.
Yeah, it's far from being a traditional Filipino restaurant. Jollibee however, is pinoy pride, so I think that's where the false perception stemmed from...
