    At question 27
    Why did you multiply 0.9 by 47
    The answer is right but
    I don't get it?

      The number b is 90% less than 47. It has the same meaning as b is 10% of 47 or b = 0.10(47). If you write the equation the way it is worded, b = 47 - 0.90(47) = 47(1-0.9) = 47(0.1). In other words, 90% refers to the value 47 and not the number b.
      For analogy, you can rewrite the prior statement as “The number a is 110% MORE than the number b”. From which you derive a = b + 1.10b. For MORE you add, and for LESS you subtract. And also, for MORE you use b, and for LESS you use 47. If you are still confused, write the equation for “the number b is 90% more than 47”. Clue: b = 47 + 0.9(47).

    Will you be doing module 2? Is there a difference in complexity between the 2?

    I think you did question 24 wrong, it asked for a translation upwards of 14, and since the y-intercept was 2 after the translation of upwards of 14, the real y-intercept should be -12 as -12+14=2.

    In Q13
    We can take derivative of f(x) and equate it to 0 to find the minimum point
    Is this a valid approach ?

    • @munibaashraf5032
      @munibaashraf5032 Год назад

      yup, that's a easy way too just for this question otherwise derivation is a bit lengthier way to approach SAT math problems

    • @TheVirtuoso44

      imo his methods are helpful and the way he solves questions is mostly the shortest and easiest way, also more fun
      Instead of applying and memorizing tons and tons of boring formulas that you might also forget during the test, cuz you focused on memorizing not understanding
      Huzefa is a great teacher.
