โครงการประกวด " มิสม้งไทยแลนด์ 2012 เพื่อเฉลิมฉลอง 750 เมืองเชียงราย "
ความเป็นมาของโครงการ
วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้เป็นศูนย์กลางการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ ความคิดเห็น การนำเสนอข้อมูลข่าวสาร และความเคลื่อนไหวของพี่น้องม้งในประเทศไทย ที่เป็นสาระประโยชน์ต่อการดำเนินชีวิตในสังคม ตลอดจนใช้เป็นเวทีให้คนม้งรุ่นใหม่ได้แสดงออกซึ่งความรู้ความสามารถ ตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 10 ปีที่ผ่านมา ได้มีการจัดกิจกรรมและโครงการต่างๆ มากมาย การประกวดมิสม้งอินเตอร์เน็ต ซึ่งเป็นอีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมที่ได้จัดมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง และในปีนี้ถือเป็นปีที่ 5 เพื่อคัดเลือกสาวงามผู้เข้าประกวดที่มีความรู้ความสามารถมาเป็นตัวแทนในการทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ ต่อไป
ในปี 2552 ที่ผ่านมา บริษัท สตาร์เอ็ม จำกัด ได้ยกระดับการประกวดจาก มิสม้งอินเตอร์เน็ต เป็น มิสม้งไทยแลนด์ 2010 ขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรก ที่หมู่บ้านขุนกลาง อ.จอมทอง จ.เชียงใหม่ เมื่อวันที่ 22 เดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2552 และครั้งที่สองที่หมู่บ้าน เข็กน้อย อ.เขาค้อ จ. เพชรบูรณ์ เมื่อวันที่ 10-11 เดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2553 ซึ่งในการจัดการประกวดแต่ละครั้งถือเป็นการเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าประกวดได้แสดงความรู้ความสามารถบนเวที เพื่อเป็นตัวแทนของพี่น้องม้งในการทำกิจกรรมร่วมกับหน่วยงานต่างๆ ทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนต่อไป นอกจากโครงการประกวดมิสม้งไทยแลนด์แล้วทาง บริษัท สตาร์เอ็ม จำกัด และสาวงามที่เคยเข้าร่วมประกวด เตรียมก่อตั้ง ชมรมมิสม้งไทยแลนด์ ขึ้นเพื่อร่วมกันทำประโยชน์เพื่อสังคมและเป็นตัวอย่างที่ดีให้แก่เยาวชนต่อไป

I actually like this song.. It was well written and those three singers did a GREAT JOB.. it was nice and smooth. I would so recommend this song to be sing for every Hmong New Year, esp here in the US.
I have to say that some of these girls are prettier than the ones who run for pageants here in the US...Proud of them, keep up the great work girls!!!

Why are people even bashing on these singers? Seriously? I love this song! And bashing on them isnt gonna do you any good. I honestly love the guy from Icu's voice. I think his voice is super unique. He is an artist for a reason. Smh

If you look at how long Hmong Americans have been in the states as compared to Hmong Thais, the Hmong Thai Miss Hmong promotional materials are way more professional. Hats off to the Hmong communities across the world. Naim Xyooj is drop dead gorgeous. If I make it to Thailand, she's coming back home with me.
There pageant looks more traditional and well organized than in US. Keeping up the tradition.

You also should remember during the time Hmong Lao were struggling to survive in Thailand camps, a lot of Hmong Thaib turned their backs on us. Those who earned high standard of living in Thailand were ashamed to be Hmong. Often time you would find some of them adopted Thai name and last name. If you ever travel to the North and looking for a place to stay with a Hmong Thai family, they expected you not only to pay your meals but their meals as well.

The song is outstanding! Better than I've ever heard from the USA. The performance could use some improvement. The song is dedicated to the beauty contestants, so why not sing to them, look at them once in a while, not ignore them all together.

In my opinion, I think the girls who run for Miss Hmong in Laos or Thailand is so much more better then, the one in America. BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY HELP OUT their parents and seem to have a better personality.

Absolutely beautiful song, however, I think it would be better if they use "ntxhais" instead of "niam" because when I hear "niam", a mother comes to mind first.
