Warning to everyone about those cheap aquarium cleaners a friend scratched his whole tank with one still hurts 15 years later
Well YOUR FRIEND is an idiot! You and I can tell you have zero experience. How do I know this you ask? Well, anyone in the hobby knows that glass scratches as well as acrylic (even worse) accountability is key! Common sense isn't that common anymore! Lol

@@BabyluthiI saw aquarium Co Ops video, and I have a better, more efficient way.
All you have to do is put the tube in the water and push up and down.
The water will come up on its own.
I learned this method when I was a teenager stealing gas from cars.

I always buy drift wood, almond leafs, filter bags and usb pumps from Temu.
Driftwood can be expensive, is it worth getting it there?
@@Daniel-cs5bl really depends if you have the hook up or not. Temu charges $1 dollar per pretty small piece. With a little imagination and either glue or sewing thread you can combine them to make a decent size piece. Majority of my tanks are nano ish shrimp tanks so the small pieces kind of work for me.

You could always wear something like cotton knit gloves etc underneath the pond gloves to add another layer of protection. And it seems they'd still be dry. Just a thought

As filter bags I use my wife’s used nylon stockings. They can can contain a lot of filter material and they’re free.
They also contain your wife's leg hair.

That was fun! I have purchased almost all of those same items from Temu. For the price, they are okay. I think my favorite purchases have been the plastic razors and the aquarium glass cleaning brushes on long handles....they were $1.58 each and can be upwards of $8 in store.
I'm addicted to Temu.

I've bought a ton of useful stuff, but I've also just bought stuff that I will never use, such as an endoscope.
I can hook it up to my phone , but I really have no use for it. 😅
I've got a wonderful battery powered air pump, excellent glass Lilly pipes with surface skimmer for my fluval 307, CO2 drop checker, check valves, very long stainless steel CO2 diffuser, scrapers, and a few other odds and ends. Everything was a hit, but the only 2 things that have been bad are that float valve in this video because I can't get it to fit on my rimmed tank, and a mesh filter cover that wasn't as big as it was supposed to be. Temu is a hit for my tank.
I'm here two weeks later to say: Humphrey made this whole video! I hope the mirror got removed to give him a little rest.
For filter/soil bags I just use the veg bags from aldi bigger and 25p.

I had to turn my Temu notifications off because it was CRAZY how many they send hahaha.
I ordered a similar feeder for my shrimp, but it's a thinner design and a small bowl at the bottom. Have yet to use it but it should work. I have got lights and other things not too bad. But you did get some funny stuff. Entertaining video, but no biting fish for me lol😅.
the vacuum one is good for cleaning in and around plants because its so small but uses rigid lines instead of flex line in the tank. more for detail vacuum work than water changes.
In my opinion if algae presence is the measure of a good fish keeper then i am glad to not be considered a good fish keeper. Algae is not only good for the tank but for its inhabitants too as such the viewing panel is the only one i scrape.

i was part of ioaoi’s test for the “puriresin” , it works very well at removing nitrates in a reef tank.
I recently downloaded the TEMU app myself. I found this video to be quite satisfying as I have not had the stones enough to order all the suggestions. ❤

Interesting stuff. I am not sure if I would use them except I do use the float valves, but be careful the brackets can crack, causing the valve to stay open. I have a couple of floods because of them.

thanks very interesting. I have bought quite a lot of things from Temu but I never get any emails from them as I go through their website and not an app. All I get is a notification of when it's arriving. Way to go I think!
Hi I go through both and don't get any emails either from them. Most sites like Temu has a checkbox you click on if you want to get offers from them. I guess that's what happened. But in the site aswell as app in the messages there's a lot of add this to your order or they suggest stuff for you.

custom is way to go 4 security lights should do it ... maybe two if there wide angle

Temu is a data collector disguised as a retail site… rather like Amazon but worse as TEMU is Chinese.
That resin is the only good thing they sell , it is 100% identical to that rip-off purigen
Be careful, if you leave items in your basket they will automatic charge your card that’s on file and send you the stuff with out you asking or purchase. Anyone else have this happen, can’t find a way to contact them.

I had this happen on WISH. 600$ later /two orders, not happy. It took me over 8 months to sort it out n get my money back.
I had placed several of the same type of items in cart, this way you can see the “final” cost they charge (prices often change when you add to cart ) plus you can usually only see the delivery when in cart. I usually do this to do a “final” comparison and choose only one of the items, if any at all. I’ve not used Wish since. Do have to admit tho, discovering Temu I do the same thang- leave stuff in cart n never actually buy anything.

Don’t by any of that stuff, ever. Throw some dirt down, cover it with sand. Add water. Live plants and snails. Then fish. Poof eco system.
Please watch some videos about the truth behind Temu before supporting them. Ik the prices are tempting but the company has so many negative impacts
