    • @Siegefya
      @Siegefya 22 часа назад

      You're spot on, narcissist, psychopaths, sociopath's rarely do that. They don't think anything is wrong with them, usually a person who does that thinks there is something very wrong with themselves to a point they feel it can't be fixed, and only way to "fix" it is to get rid of their existence early. If a narcissist does it, they usually think that there is something wrong with other people or the world around them their environment that's beating them, which they do believe that anyways, everyone is beneath them nobody can be better they are that delusional, they have to be #1 that's a pillar of narcissism. when they get like that it's because they had a complete exposure, floor collapse beneath them, and they have nothing or nobody to have the shared fantasy with...and they start to get into another stage of delusion where depression can show itself. So covert vulnerable narcissist can get like that if their world collapses around them, is he there? Well idk, he doesn't come off as covert vulnerable, he seems more overt grandiose... Those ones usually don't do that and yeah grandiose type narcissist are usually the "big" over the top in your face kind.
      One thing that hasn't been mentioned, is yeah he seems overt grandiose, well here's the thing... Narcs can shift to malignant type, or even shift into having psychopathic or sociopathic tendencies. That dude from Colorado who offed his wife and 2 daughters was clinically diagnosed NPD, but something caused him to go malignant, which can bring on the very cold and violent tendencies of narcissism, theoretically pushing that person into full on psychopathy. So we are sitting here discussing if this man is capable of self harm, but another thing people aren't mentioning is violence...which narcissist, psychopaths, and sociopaths have a higher chance of becoming very violent. Remember, the cluster b personality disorders don't actually hurt the person that much...they are an example of mental health condition where the person doesn't know they are crazy, it's why they rarely self harm, their issues hurt other people close to them more than it hurts them... So him becoming violent towards someone eventually is more likely I think. I mean Robert O'Neil, who I believe to be some kind of narcissist as well, the man beat someone up in a bar, then threatened grape on some young boys who posted on Twitter that they voted for Kamala Harris... He literally said he'd 🍇 them if we were living in different times. It's not just sof community, I was Marine Corps infantry we had narcs in my unit, they are everywhere you can think of. 1 in 10 people are on the cluster b spectrum.

    I understand the need to let go and move on. You make a valid point. Tim exhibits traits of a narcissistic personality, and individuals like him are typically not suicidal. Selfish people often view situations through a self-centered lens, which distorts their understanding of the world around them. His behavior is driven by a dopamine high. They often create new narratives that contradict their previous ones. It's the quiet, unsung hero who hides his inner demons and does not seek the spotlight that should be worrisome. Tim couldn't even remember the names of his fallen teammates.

    It’s hilarious how many people that have never even laced up a pair of boots are on the internet bashing guys. Tim is obviously in a bad spot, but this guy has walked the razor’s edge…he’s seen and been involved in situations that wannabe soldiers have wet dreams about. Just the amount of training and knowledge he has is beyond what most people can grasp and far exceeds what most people could ever endure. He’s been a world class mma fighter and even McPhee said that Tim went through 4 guys on his team before Shrek had to finish him off on the mat. He’s not some guy who served behind a desk or in a chow hall (although those personnel are equally important in my eyes), he is a combat fighter of the highest caliber. Has he made some stupid mistakes and embellished some stories? Probably. As a combat veteran myself, I have heard lots of guys tell tall tales about their heroics…none of that bothers me to the point I’d want to crucify them or anyone else. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I’m cool with the criticism that he’s receiving but all these guys in the “community” that are railing against him is pretty sad…these guys would literally slit each other’s throats to get more likes and clicks. Good on you for giving him some grace and showing some class. Much respect to you, Sir.

    Rule # 1 never feel bad for multi millionaires. There’s guys and veterans out there struggling with mental health issues who don’t have millions of dollars and 100K paid speeches to get top tier healthcare and are thrown into psyche wards for months and years. I still know some great marines who are rotting away in wards and no one cares. And what about Tim talking all the shit to Antihero Podcast guys and saying they never went to war or did shit? Or getting them censored on RUclips? Tim Kennedy’s response to the litany of allegations that were meant to sell more books was to post a video where he threw his editor under the bus and said they failed. Antihero guys said the best: the black riffle guys since around 2016 thought they had a monopoly and rose that wave until it crashed and now they’re coming out saying they didn’t even right their own books or blaming their editing teams.

    “Let him get some air, so he can get his sh!t together.” Respectfully, I disagree. He chose to double down on his ‘grave’ when he made TWO rebuttals against “The Antihero Podcast”, which were swiftly debunked. Plus, he chose to make it public instead of talking things out behind-the-scenes. His LIES will, if not already, get young servicemen harmed down range.

    Point blank, he needs to be HONEST!!! Hell, Marcus had to finally come clean about the book, the Navy and their influence, his team mates, everything. He finally told people that when shit hit the fan, he ran. That’s a VERY HARD THING TO SAY when you’re a SOF guy. You never want to admit defeat or that you were scared. But, to go public and to say all the crazy stuff he has said just to make himself be bigger than what he really is………that’s a whole new level of arrogance and stupidity. If I was face to face with Tim K. I would tell him to own it and let the world know. Let the chips fall where they may, pick them fucking chips up and move the fuck on. Period. Start the process of cleaning your record of lies. If folks come after you over it, I would tell them I have nothing more to say and move the fuck on. But NEVER dishonor your unit, God and country for fame and fortune. It will ALWAYS catch up to you. Karma is a bitch that never sleeps.

      Of course you can start a fire and then choose when to stop it.
      The entire premise of human civilization is mankind's ability to create and mange fires, up to and including putting them out. The irresponsible thing to do is let a fire burn out of control.

    Well said Jay. You having a daughter is key too. Online bullying is real and it's way more intense than just going to school and getting picked on by one person. It can happen to adults too, not just adolescents. Tim's human, he made mistakes, you have put him through the gauntlet now and once he is out he needs to know the gauntlet is the gauntlet and the future is new and exciting. At the end of the day, he still has achieved a lot and went and put his life on the line for his country. You are awesome Jay!!

    Easy for me to say I disagree based on Tim making absurd amounts of money off of lies. His celebrity status among some makes him suddenly less valuable than everyone else. We mentally write off these people based on status, i.e. Puff Daddy for example.
    If Puffy flipped his permanent off button does anyone really give a shit? Probably not.
    Everything you stated is valid, but patriotism, alpha male individuals and fanboys aren’t going to let it end.
    Best thing Tim could do is just come out and correct the issues, apologize and then don’t address the issue publicly ever again. SF and SOF’s social media would let it fade within 2 weeks.

Like someone else said in the comments, it’s not like Tim hasn’t done some amazing work and isn’t a bad ass, it’s that the other alpha’s (or whatever they consider themselves) can’t stand when someone else is getting more attention than they are.

    Yeah, I agree. The info is out there. You've done your part. If the SF leadership doesn't take their own actions from here, that's a failure on them. If people continue to kick a dude while they're down, and it goes too far, that's gonna be on them. It has to be aired out, it has been aired out, now move along. Great job policing your own, Man. I respected you guys for calling him out and I respect the wherewithal to know when enough is enough. Now it's on SF and on Tim to fix his shit and carry himself in a light that shines honor towards whatever command he is part of. Solid work.

    I'm just a lowly Airborne career reservist. Tim Kennedy is an entertainer with multiple legitimate accomplishments.
    He has witnesses. Less the perceived exaggerations, I think he mainly suffers from an inability to articulate his experiences with academic sophistication while being impressionistic.
    Thats all. He really is a great fighter/martial artist. He REALLY IS a Green Beret/Ranger qualified sniper. He REALLY DID serve overseas in combat. He REALLY DID get featured in a movie, he's on RUclips, He's been on TV etc.
    What's the big deal? They didn't put a "V" on his Bronze Star? He feels he should've gotten Purple Heart 💜 for his injuries? Idk guys, maybe he's just not meticulous and comes off the wrong way when he's trying to explain things. This is all bullshit. He might be a bit of a bullshitter but he's NOT a fraud.

    It's kind of funny because every time I've been at my lowest people just keep packing it on, they never gave a fuck about my personal well-being. It's called accountability, man up and take responsibility for your actions. He doesn't deserve a free pass because his feelings are hurt. I don't want to see anyone kill themselves, but he doesn't deserve a free pass out of this.

    Suicidal Ideation is very common in the veteran community. The military encourages members hiding it and keeping those thoughts hidden. If you are having those thoughts, seek help, the thoughts will persist if you don’t and lead to you making a plan and executing it. Get help, you need a team to win, you can’t beat it alone.
    As far as Tim goes, I definitely don’t want him to be another lost veteran even if he has built his identity on falsehoods. It’s important to remember that back when we joined Google didn’t exist….the recruiters and senior leaders “lied” or just sold us the up sides without mentioning the down sides. That is what the campaign with Luttrell/Tim/Rob is attempting to do in a new age of the internet. They are selling glory stories to a new generation. This channel doesn’t sell glory stories that are over embellished and Jay tells you young guys the truth for anyone who wants to take the path towards service in the elite parts of the Us military.
    Sorry to hear about the loss of one of your 3rd Grp brothers Jay, it pains me every-time I hear about another veteran choosing that road.

  • @Tehz1359
    @Tehz1359 11 часов назад +1

    It's a serious possibility. The way I see it, he's already at the point of no return either way. If he admits it, it will destroy him, if he doesn't admit it, it will destroy him. And by destroy him, I mean his reputation, his credibility, etc. Sure some will forgive him, but he will now always be known as a liar. Once trust is broken, it's basically impossible to fully get back. Tim seems like someone who needs mass validation, he cares deeply about what others think about him. We all do to an extent, but not to the level he likely does if he's willing to lie about all of this. So maybe it's best to leave well enough alone at this point. The info is out there for whoever wants to go looking in the future. And we all have better things to do then rag on him all day.
