Come on Festool, a 240 volt variant of the cys table saw please
it looks like there is no sense to have 240v - the main idea is mobility of the saw, and if you plan to work in a shop - you could by cast iron saw for the same price or even cheaper - like Powermatic PM1000, for instance
I have that saw. It’s pretty amazing as it is. Acme tools is now advertising the 8ah battery. 🤔
I would LOVE to see some hybrid options... like an 18v battery that has a cord, so you have the option of running a tool on battery or plugging it in. I know they have a hybrid sander, but to make this an option for the majority of the 18v tools would be amazing!!
Yeah, the cordless vacs chew through the batteries, I would love to have the option to run it on mains power.
I second the requests for an 18V trim router
The inside filter view of the air scrubber looks complicated and I wonder how many filters one would be required to replace? Cost over the lifetime of the unit looks high. Hopefully a full breakdown on the filters and lifespan will be posted soon.

I've been looking at air cleaners. The SYS-AIR is a good addition. I have a pair of DeWalt DCL050 work lights. I put one at each end of my MFTs. It's lit like a surgery. The SYSLITE KAL C is attractive but I would need to figure a way to elevate it. There's no room for a tripod. In the US I'm also having to pay to have new tools now offered only in imperial here to be converted back to metric. My greatest concern is that they could be damaged with the extra shipping involved.
I just bought a ts55 feq and they included the metric sticker that goes on the saw in the manual.
How many years until we receive these items in North America?
I'm sure we only have to wait 6-8 years.😅
What prevented you from building a USB port into the flashlight to charge your phone??? You've finally reached the line of flashlights, so learn from your competitors.
Perhaps you should buy their radio they have had this for 10 yrs now also their is a special phone charger that works with their batteries look if up it is avaliable in europe
I like your products & i’m willing to pay more for quality but I still think they are overpriced. I still buy but it gives me pause. an added inducement that would make the purchases more palatable would an ac (mains for the rest of you) option on most of your cordless tools. It’s why I bought one of your cordless sanders. If you offered an ac option for your sys 50 table saw, your ctc dust extractors, your kapex (like dewalt does) i’d buy tomorrow.

If Festool could provide a AC-DC battery dummy for my CTLC SYS I would be greatful as for now the runtime with the maximum 2x 4Ah is very limited and almost useless. The same battery dummy could also be used for the CSC SYS 50 for stationary work
We are happy to pass on the suggestion to our developers. In principle, however, such a dummy battery is not easy to implement. Depending on the power consumption of the machine (which is quite high for dust extractors or table saws), the voltage converter will be very large and heavy.

This is the tool I'm waiting for! If I had an 18v planer I could ditch the corded sys vac. It's not that big of a deal but forever hopeful we'll see an 18v planer.
I love the that Festool is making an Air scrubber. My concern is the filter replacement cost will be insane. I guess we will find out soon.
Hello Tim,
The SYS-AIR has two filters: a preliminary filter and a main filter. The preliminary filter filters the majority of the dust and thus protects the main filter. This allows the SYS-AIR to be operated more cost-effectively. The preliminary filters are offered in packs of 5 and the recommended retail price is € 77 (approx. € 15 for one preliminary filter). The prices do not include taxes and may vary depending on the country and dealer.
How often a filter needs to be changed depends on the operating time of the SYS-AIR and how polluted the air to be cleaned is.

The larger light looks really good but I’ll wait to see what the battery runtime is before getting too excited
Great to hear that you are interested in our new cordless construction light. With a 4.0 Ah battery pack it will last 2 hours at the brightest level.
Replacement for the VAC-SYS when?
Unfortunately, there are no plans for a successor product. Demand is so low that it is not economically viable.
I thought they would rerease a cordless planer or router… maybe next year?

Yes, the 5.0 and 8.0 Ah battery also fits on the KBS C.

Вы пишите только свое мнение. Лично мое мнение, что аккумуляторный инструмент, это круто. Я очень рад тому, что инструмент стал акумулярным и мобильным
