Thank for the post. My 2 years of college German was not sufficient, but I found several good interviews in English. The music speaks for itself. Another area I know nothing about.

Fortunately I am able to understand both German and English and though it is very true there are several good interviews in English, I do find , as excellent as her English is, she IS more eloquent at explaining her thoughts in German. Unfortunately...my German is a one way street or I would have attempted to create English subtitles. As for the music...I'd say you hit the nail on the head and it is pretty much a point she makes often...music does speak for itself. :-) I do find I learn a lot by listening to interviews with all kinds of musicians.
ASM always has interesting, insightful things to say, so I regret when there aren't subtitles....
