What’s up guys Nick Serrano here! I originally designed the knife with a more traditional drop point and then after some re drawing it ended up being what it is now just never really re named it. However I think I Un drop point might be my new favorite description. Hope you guys enjoy the knife, if it does well you may see my name on more knives!
the Real Steel Heoft is a stunner, not many new knives recently have slinspired me but Real Steel really knows how to make a knife with charm. Does that make sense?
$150 for a Kershaw USA auto. Excellent and no need to support China taking over the market. Thanks Kershaw for keeping USA made affordable and reliable.
I’m watching this two days later, so I’m okay with it being Thursday. I never use a pocket clip, I usually remove them. But I love that spring clip on the Karly! What a great idea. I would expect to see this on more knives. And I’ve just added that Demko to my gift list.
That Hoeft looks like a better version of the Giant Mouse Nazca micarta which is one of my favorite designs, I always wished it had a longer blade and I know from my multiple Real Steel’s they do a better heat treat than the m390 has on the Nazca.
I kind of want Kershaw to do the Bel Air with G10. I think that's what I'm waiting for. Either that or if somebody comes out with some aftermarket G10 scales for it
Damn David you really messed me up...I just woke up from a long winters nap. When I fell asleep it was Tuesday; I wake up in time to watch Knife Center to hear you say it is Thursday. I was befuddled!!😂😂😂
Hello Thomas . Thanks for the great videos. I have to say the quality of videos are significantly better than the videos from the other knife dealers. Please keep indicating the brand and knife model on the bottom, since it is helpful to find a knife when moving back & forth . Thanks again , keep up the great work ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
just the other day i was thinking "what has Real Steel been doing besides the Huggin" LDIK making a bunch of new knives. The Vis and Perix 👍 BTW Kizer is really going all in on the Militaw, Like unusually all in on a knife that hasn't been proven a hit first.
Last I looked into it there were issues with it being brittle... but I see it EVERYWHERE, still. I would imagine it's still selling and Manufacturers are still holding a large supply of it. I like the look of a few of the Civivi models with black blade/hardware and Ultem, but I just haven't pulled the trigger. Not too favorable of a chance that I will, either.
I have 15 knives with Ultem scales - mostly factory ultem but a couple aftermarket sets as well from Cerberus and Ripps Garage Tech - and it's my favorite scale material to carry.
Liner locks are very easy, at least for this lefty. You could argue it's better: when I unlock, my thumb moves the liner to the left, then continues in the same direction; with the right thumb it moves the liner to the left then has to reverse direction.
Hello DCA, Thomas, and Seth B., and the rest of the folks @knifecenter. Happy Festivus 2024! Two of the knives you introduced in your Bonus Tuesday New Knives episode, the Real Steel Baby Barlowe, and the Kizer Exist, got me thinking about this question. What knives do you recommend as good craft knives, similar to the popular pen style razor blade knives? Feel free to run the gamut in price range, as well as suggesting folders and fixed blades, and any knives with replaceable blades if applicable. Thanks for all you do and Happy New Year!
DCA we all TRUST you so much that every one of us really had to re-consider our knowledge of it being Tuesday. I KNOW its Tuesday but bc you said thursday, i was like...how did it get to thursday after what was I thought only 10 minutes on the toilet....
Man, love love love the MKM Mirror! Incredible design and I love pocket fixed-blades. So sad to see it doesn't come in a kydex sheath though. The leather is no good for pocket carry IMO. I'll just have to wait and hope they eventually release a different sheath.
Keep making your mistakes, they are funny and it makes this feel like it is not heavely scripted. Calm and collect your tell us about new knives and it's all good!
What otf knife besides microtec, that's on the tactical side or any really that would withstand most abuse u can throw at it no D2 in less it's coated D2 thks
i kinda like the safe viper blade shape its like a katana but with more belly at the transition point thats seamless almost but with a hint of tip edge
I like the look of titanium and there's some really attractive knive that have titanium handles, but titanium has no semblance of grippy texture unless machined to such as checkerin. Otherwise left in it's smooth finished state, it's slippery even to just dry hands, much less when blood, oil, fat or grease is on those hands. Gimme G10, micarta or even wood ANYTIME!
Dear Knifecenter, Here is something for a knife faq. I am obsessed to sharpen my Edc pocket knives to a laser beam sharpness. I understand the role angles and toothy vs mirror edges play, but has anyone tried a hybrid sharpening where i would leave one bevel toothy but would polish the other side to an astronomical telescope mirror level shiny,[ best of both worlds] Would this work, do you think? Would it matter which side is which if i am right or left handed? I would like to hear your thoughts on this. Keep up the great work.
I wish they would make a slipjoint version of every knife. Not grandpa style slipjoints. So many cool ones i just can not carry for bs local knife laws. Wouldnt want anyone to die if the knife happens to lock.
DEAR KNOIF CENTER!!…. What’s your opinion of bnb knives? (Buck and bear I believe) they have a cpl models I like the looks of but there’s not many people talking abt the folders except bnb themselves 😂. Anyone know anything? Made in Pakistan based out of Pennsylvania is one reason I want to know abt them before spending money on them. How’s their Damascus? One model has Damascus they just call “256 Damascus steel”.
Apparently KnifeCenter doesn’t carry them. DCA may have used one but the site doesn’t have them so you are won’t see them featured. There are slew of knife influencers on RUclips you might search for a review.
When are they gonna allow auto in canada alrdy 🤦🏻♂️ so i can start my collection.. or expend ..i can open AND close all my thumbstud/flipper way faster than any auto
As a fellow Canadian, you already know that answer. Unfortunately. Nothing that is "illegal" that is remotely classified as a weapon is ever going to be rolled back and allowed. 😡🇨🇦
@@Mxlch999 there's a lot of "dumb" in Canadian law. Firearms aren't even covered under the property laws. There is no right to firearms in Canada, and since they are outside the property laws, gun bans, "buy backs" and grabs are perfectly legal. You can purchase them, but it's more like a stewardship than ownership, which is insane. Knife laws are so subjective, it's even worse.
@TheScoundrel70 oh yea dw all tbat shit pisses me off as someone who would want a 2nd ammendment in canada . And the right to actually defend our lives
Do You know which knives manufacturer is the worst? Spyderco. I've never had a knife from them, without a hole in the blade... Talking about poor quality

When he said Thursday my heart dropped 💀
😂😂
Wow, every single one of those Real Steels has my attention 👀
They got my attention with the Sacra Tac. Their knives offer ridiculous bang for your buck.
There are some fantastic knives in their catalogue.
Ahh! I thought my week was almost over! I'm going to need an extra discount to get through this trauma.
😂😂
I like the Viper Safe.
I have the Perrix -- I love how slick it is. If you don't need to stay under 3", it's *fantastic.* Feels like a budget Quiet Carry Waypoint.
$150 for a Kershaw USA auto. Excellent and no need to support China taking over the market. Thanks Kershaw for keeping USA made affordable and reliable.
The Perix is a winner imo
I'm hoping that it is PB washers instead of bearings.
Agreed that is a sweet looking knife a clean build
Some nice Real Steel knives the " Hoeft " has got a sporty look and even the micarta looks good
I’m watching this two days later, so I’m okay with it being Thursday.
I never use a pocket clip, I usually remove them. But I love that spring clip on the Karly! What a great idea. I would expect to see this on more knives.

The Real Steel Perix is a good-looking knife. I'm going to buy it.
It's nice
Real steel showed up and showed out ! Great lookin knives.
That Hoeft looks like a better version of the Giant Mouse Nazca micarta which is one of my favorite designs, I always wished it had a longer blade and I know from my multiple Real Steel’s they do a better heat treat than the m390 has on the Nazca.

Yeah - generally aluminium sucks as a handle material.
OH JOY....my cup runneth over! It's like Thursday, twice this week 😉
I definitely want Igor's Mirror 1 fixed blade from Viper. I'll probably go Ivory Micarta.
Real Steel and Kizer are producing some compelling knives for very reasonable money.
Big fan of both.

How is ultem still trendy? I haven’t talked to anyone who actually likes it as a handle material.
It seems ok to me. I haven't tried it yet
I’m with you 100%.
Last I looked into it there were issues with it being brittle... but I see it EVERYWHERE, still. I would imagine it's still selling and Manufacturers are still holding a large supply of it. It's like skinny jeans. Trendy....not good trendy 90% of the time, but still out there being trendy. Ish.
I have 15 knives with Ultem scales - mostly factory ultem but a couple aftermarket sets as well from Cerberus and Ripps Garage Tech - and it's my favorite scale material to carry.
Big Kizer Fan! But I would have to give the nod to Real Steel in this video.
Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy bonus video?! Heck yeah!!

Thanks for the bonus!!!

It's Taco Tuesdays and Turkey Thursdays
Real steel Karly vg10 Slim/thin carry looks really interesting with that pricetag 🤔
Oh no, that new Kershaw Bel Air variant. 🥵 Is that a Knife Center exclusive? I don’t see it anywhere else.
Bonus Thursday go!
Are you folks getting the Kizer Riverbank anytime soon?
What's the best electrician knife for cutting wire insulation off
interesting releases!!
Pro looks like it’s ready to be converted to an auto really easily, just like Boker did with their strike line
That Microtech is my choice for Sebenza killer
They have already won, CRK doesn’t make OTF autos.
Can someone see if the hogue extrak will fit in those magnetic sheaths.
I exited, and checked the day on my phone. Danggit, it is Tuesday
The Denko custom is great. I gave all my friends one for Christmas..... Oh wait, I was daydreaming again. Sorry. What were we talking about?

Excellent video, beautiful knifes, great commentary 👍👍
Is that Hoeft a similar design to Spyderco’s lock?
Looks inspired but not identical
14:00 DCA's narrative tanks.
is that a new table to your left DCA??
DCA great video man 👍

I want a T-shirt that says “one more less part” please 😂
You missed the price on first new knives
Sweet 🔪
real steel making some good finger gaurd / finger choil knives in my perspective and imagination
i kinda like the safe viper blade shape
its like a katana but with more belly at the transition point thats seamless almost but with a hint of tip edge
i still need ot get my self one of those AD10 or cold steel knives
I like the look of titanium and there's some really attractive knive that have titanium handles, but titanium has no semblance of grippy texture unless machined to such as checkerin. Anyone have an idea for stronger, better steel, but not too hard on the budget? I prefer smaller blade size...
Did any one else checkbthe date too
Reverse drop point
Can someone back me up and tell Viper knives to fix their thumb studs (they really suck) and add jimping on the Flipper tabs.
I wish they would make a slipjoint version of every knife. Not grandpa style slipjoints. So many cool ones i just can not carry for bs local knife laws.
Wouldnt want anyone to die if the knife happens to lock.
Still waiting on the mini miltaw in 154cm 😕
So you realize you didn’t give us a price in the Real steel Hoeft
I like the kizer shot but that star on it just won't do. People will think I'm a cowboys fan.
The tool box is on the wrong side
Says who? -DCA
Kizer exist.....super drop point!!!😅
