My biggest gripe is the EOMM. Basically, this game makes it so i have bot teamates 9/10 times in a lobby that has my skilled or better players in it. This game's solo experience is atrocious! It's basically a 1v3 simulator for me, and it's draining and mentally taxing.
Yup. I get level 100 teammates while im master since season 9 and everybody else in the lobby is current master-pred with 70,000 kills on one character.

Activision doesn't care about other games; they only think about Call of Duty, which is why you haven't seen another Prototype game. In fact, I don't think Activision has made anything except Call of Duty, but I could be wrong. The point is that they'll likely just scrap the game completely, maybe try to integrate some stuff into Warzone since they will technically be the owners if they do buy the game and then just toss everyone out or throw them into a team and have them work on Call of Duty, even if they don't know anything about Call of Duty.
Lets be honest, greedy store sales didnt kill the game, the hackers, servers and ignorance of EA did. As a player playing since season 4, i will come back only after engine update and server upgrades. I dont want to come back after a year just to get killed by a level 15 pathfinder or lifeline.
What killed apex was the lack of change. Take Fortnite for example, epic constantly (every month) would make drastic but fun changes that still kept the core Fortnite vibes. EA thought they could just release crappy maps and some random legend every 3-4 months and people would be happy. Every single game was the same. Didn’t matter what map, legend, or gun you used. All of your fights would be played basically the same. The game just became boring due to lack of content. Greed did play a part but in my opinion that didn’t kill apex. If that were the case, Fortnite would be 6 feet deep right now.
A million RUclipsrs can make a million videos about how Apex is dead and cooked and EA still will not care, EA never liked Apex to begin with and they hate it more now that fifa and dragon age failed and it's all EA has left, sounds l like Apex is the only player base to milk dry now. 😢
The playerbase wouldn't even be as low as it is right now if they had regular pubs+ revival or three strikes in rotation. This season full of relic bs has made it to where you have to play ranked to experience the actual game, and the meta makes ranked a chore if you aren't stacking. I have 762 games played this season and 345 of those are in ranked, it's boring. Nothing to do once you hit Master, so I just get on, sit in the range for a bit, and get off now. I genuinely don't know why they thought it was a good idea to remove regular pubs for a whole season, people complain about it every time they take them away.
Ive said it once and will say it again. Make heirloom shards farmable. Not pay gated nor by random 0.001% RNG chance. I guarantee so many would come back!
This honestly wouldn’t fix anything, heirlooms are supposed to be rare/hard to get so this ruins the purpose. The game needs better servers, better sbmm, better audio, more content, and a company that actually lets the dev team do more than drop collection events
idk why they don’t add interactive events w the bot lobbies. let ppl explore more store, upgrade system, clear communication. also show us our money is being spent well. give us things like trails for the old prestige skins. it would increase ppl buying,as now they have them too. they need to focus on returning money, rather than bleeding our pockets, & getting rid of the core team behind apex. it’s insane how much this game is gone.

One thing that I think Apex should have that I think would help it out is they should take the mixtape game modes and make them there own thing and also add kill trackers and rewards for playing them. Also the game needs Arenas back.
Everything will be so much better if they release two or three heroes at one time and put way more weapons, we have all this Apex credit we can't use we can use all the coins we have for attachments, different customizations

The best change imo to save this game and make it grow would be to bring titanfall wall jumps and double jumps to the game bring more titanfall content into the game and make the cosmetics more affordable.
EA needs to stop doing all these collection events and actually focus on some new content and balance changes. They keep pushing updates no one is asking for its wild lol

I invested a lot in this game because of the fun I have on it I have the gloves, the maw, the bloodhound recolor axe, the kerambit, the buster sword and the deathgrip. They need to let the players get what they want in the game
Are those bots caustic is fighting in bot royale or are those bots in pubs like look how some or them were moving literally seemed like firing range bots 😭😭
If they sell Apex, the game might have a chance at a comeback. Hopefully Epic buys it, but EA would probably have Epic gamble with buying packs to get it. Could also see EA making so expensive nobody buys it.
They want large systemetic changes (increases in revenue) but not going to work towards Apex 2.0 (aka putting in the effort and investing). rEAspawns constant rewalking over all their previous "we wont do this again" (Bustersword sales, recolored skins for the same price, etc) just shows they have no issue butchering this game and refuse to put in the needed work to maintain it.
would be great if the game just kept on tanking to the point EA wants to sell it off and whoever buys it brings back the old devs to make it great again while building it on a new engine with more to do.
Make Apex like season 1, remove all the issues, and give the players what they want, boom apex fixed Apex is no longer a shooter, it's not about aiming and movement, it's an ability and meta showdown, it's needs to go back to it's roots and get revamped from there. You can't change the game as it it right now. I'll probably still play Titanfall 2, but I'll probably make time for Apex if it gets revamped.
Man I returned to this game after a few months and dropped my first 4k on wattson but it didn’t count and I don’t know why is it because of the takeover in duos because I was super excited for this just to be let down
If epic games would buy it with a dedicated team on it, it would be much better. They have a lot of collaborations, each season new content extra events etc. They can get it for cheap at this moment with the current player base 😅. And epic is now also started with first person in FN. it would make sense.
I hope another company takes it on and actually invests in it. I really does need a new engine. It could be a revival of the game. IMO Apex cannot be beaten in terms of playability. I still love it.

The FPS playerbase just shifts from one cool new thing to the next. They migrate. Successful games have to be easy to come back to. FOMO mechanics don't retain your player base, they give players reasons to stay away once they've played a new game and missed out on stuff.
