I'm on the fence about the animated series. Will they use a decent art style? And more importantly, will the writing hold up? I don't want to see them watering down the characters in order to "not offend" anyone.

Even in the late 80's-90's when this show took place, there's no way a single earner making minimum wage, or barely above could afford that house without outside financial help. Not sure why some people think this is a documentary of average family life in the 80's/90's, it was a highly satirical FICTIONAL sitcom that had little/nothing to do with reality.
