I’m having this same issue, even if you do an increase the smaller waist part won’t go up my thighs
Every other row you don’t want a drastic increase no matter how much bigger your bottom is I too have that issue and I’ve been crocheting for over twenty years. You’ll see the difference I promise it makes it look more seamless

idk what I did wrong... did the waist part 3 times and its straight until I get close to the end and then it starts to twist....
I’ve redone it at least 6 times and it’s doing the same to me too it’s very frustrating 😭

How come i used my actual waist size but now it's bigger😴...how fo i fix ot without unraveling everything
I swear this is a problem I’m facing too. I made a short and had to frog it 😭
It stretches as you crochet. Usually I do 1-2 inches shorter than my actual measurement depending on the stitch. If it’s too big there’s not much you can do. Some people cut and sew it back. I usually unravel and redo the whole thing.

I had to use my high hip measurement because when i used my waist measurement, it wouldn’t go up past my thighs. Chain enough to reach your high hip # while stretched

Wen u use ur waist measurement the dress will be stuck at ur butt , so I suggest u use ur hips measurements
You use the measurements of your waist but a few inches from your umbilical code. This type of pattern has a stretch to it.
