Why do people say that being gay is special when it really isn’t? It’s a choice, when people are overlooking those with actual talent like acting, comedy, and stunt work.
Why are those people think everyone would change from seeking movies (or shows) with "the best animation", "the best story",... to "the gayest"?

Ironically, the best story that has gay characters in it as the mains that I've ever seen is a Chinese one called Mo Dao Zu Shi/The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation. The romance is practically a side story and the story as a whole involves war, revenge, murders and slaughterings, something kind of like magic, and the whole nine yards.
Pretty bad when a country where homosexuality isn't allowed to be legally shown in media has better gay representation than the west does, huh.

It’s not the characters but it’s the agenda, “holier than thou” attitude, virtue signaling and most importantly bad writing.
I reference back to Baldur’s Gate 3, no one had problems with writing or the characters. That had everything under the Sun. But it never insulted your intelligence, they let you make up your own narrative and never preached. This works for games, movies and shows.
Unfortunately, studios can’t seem to write any good movies or shows without insulting people or make shows that’s not meant for… the audience.

When things flop and people end up losing their jobs I usually end up feeling bad for them... But it's the inability to learn that's making it harder for me to feel anything in regards to Disney and all of these other corporations. Listen I'm not a smart man but I don't think you actually need to be smart in order to understand that labeling something "The gayest blah blah blah ever" isn't a good look.

Marketing a show as the most heterosexual project ever would be pretty off putting. Oh well, by all means create the "gayest" Star Wars and the "gayest" Marvel show and the "gayest" Disney Princess and then follow it up with the "gayest" earnings call (CEO with a pink feather boa, baby).
To be fair, they were kind of ambushed. It's still a good thing, Disney will have to keep these publications away from their actors in the end.

It's not fair to say the cast are describing it as the gayest marvel project. A reporter from variety kept asking each cast member if it was the gayest marvel project and they mostly answered him awkwardly because no matter how they answered some group was going to be angry with their response. I'm not defending the current state of Marvel and I honestly hope the show bombs so that they will course correct, but fair is fair.

Disney should have stayed with their Disneystuff. That was (most of the time) very good. But taking Star Wars and Marvel (and I said it already back than as the first time I saw Star Wars made by Disney) that it is bad.

Look. I am glad Disney is including LGBT characters. Heck Lumity is my pick for Disney's best romance. That is a homosexual pairing. But you know what made it work? Good storytelling and character growth. The sexuality of Luz and Amity were not the focus and instead their relationship was.
This proves Disney can have gay characters without savrificing plot and character growth. However with this show it is just pandering. No real effort put into it and the characters have no chemistry. I really wish they would follow Owl House and if they want LGBT characters, they still need to write them well, which Agatha does not

Marvel isn’t the one marketing it as ‘The gayest Marvel show’, interviewers have been asking the cast and creators about it with bait-y questions and then making headlines saying the cast called it “THE GAYEST SHOW EVER”. You know that though but I guess grifters gotta grift.
Did you not read the responses from the actors? Marvel may not be marketing it such but the actors aren't shying away from openly calling it that way. I'm sure they've done enough interviews to know how to catch and dodge baity questions.
