I use Canva editing for all my RUclips videos for both my channels, full-length and shorts. It saves money not to purchase additional software and is so easy to connect and upload to RUclips and also use and validate music from Canva that you use with a pro-account.

I love the editing style you use. Specifically the zooming in effects, and highlighting in red. I am not sure how to accomplish this when editing in Canva. Can you tell me how you achieved those effects? And whether you used a different program?

Did I miss the bit for audio and sounds? I would like to add sound effects and music, to make a music video of a song I’ve written. please do a video just on sound
My tutorials are mostly screen recordings in OBS studio in high quality. I have canva pro on my mac but that doesn't allow me to import a recording more than 1GB. I know I can split video into multiple parts to import those clips but is there an option to import heavy video files to canva?
Very helpful presentation. But you didn't tell me about the duration of background deletes. There is no capacity to remove the background if the video is longer than 60 seconds or so. This is not very useful if my video is three minutes long. Is there no way around this problem?
Hi, Video BG Remover is currently capped at 90-second videos. There's no way around that, other than splitting your videos. I heard that Canva will soon extend this limit to 10 min, but this is not rolled out yet.
Hey there, technically you could probably find a way to do that, but that would probably be “stealing” the original creator’s content. RUclips offers the possibility to create “Clips” from exisiting videos, maybe you should look into that 😊
Problem: when I add animation to some of my elements, the animation doesn’t work when the whole video plays. If I download only that page, the animation sometimes work, but in full downloaded video it only shows the elements without animation

I encountered an issue with Canva's video editing - when using transition animation, the saved video becomes out of sync with the audio. Interestingly, in Canva, the video appears fine with the audio. The problem arises only upon downloading, and it doesn't occur when I omit the animation, any advise to solve this?

You could, yes. You might find yourself limited with Canva if you need to produce RUclips content. As your channel grows, you’ll probably need to start using a more robust video editing software, like Premiere Pro or Da Vinci Resolve.
No matter what I do, Canva won’t let me export a small 4K video clip as 4K …. Is there a secret to editing 4K videos and being able to export your MP4 file as 4K. I have a Pro account … but 4K seems a no go. Thanks! I used the same template that you used, but it won’t let me slide the quality sider to 4K. Update: I think Canva might limit 4k to working with ONLY the bowser version, not the iOS nor iPadOS apps. I was also struggling with copy/paste on the iPad too using the Canva app … Does not work! I think users need to be steered away from Canva’s mobile apps as they are missing too many basic features. After using Canva with the browser on my iPad, all the functionality is restored.

No, you can upload your own audio clips via the "Upload" button.
