The design of many bosses and invocations in this game is largely inspired of different japanese mangas/anime renowned for their magical/demonic large creatures. Garuda and "Odin" look like two of the Abyssals in Claymore (Lucilla of the South and Easly of the North) whereas Ifrit or Behemot forms are also quite similar to that of Nosferatu Zodd from Berserk seinen.

These companions are bullshit, the only good one is Torgal. I hate they even made a trailer for them acting as if there was more than just wandering, brainless, useless ai >_> Why couldn't they have done this similar to ff7 remake or even better?
Because they didn’t want to. Choosing your party in this game is choosing what eikon powers to have. You can pick 3 of the 8, and each one is fleshed out with different moves almost like a different party member. They wanted the combat to be much more deep and involved with one character, rather than splitting it up between multiple characters. One is not better than the other, just different. It’s good to have variety. We have FF7 rebirth coming out for party based gameplay. Why do you want both games to be the same? Sounds boring
@@tehCostHD It has nothing to do with gameplay reasons. Party based games like traditional Final fantasies have been declining for years. But final fantasy has always been a safe place for me. So seeing it go from party based to solo is just another major traditional rpg that is succumbing to what is more popular. Looks too easy, i beat it without playing
This game had crazy bosses but damn was it a slog to play through sometimes
These companions are bullshit, the only good one is Torgal. I hate they even made a trailer for them acting as if there was more than just wandering, brainless, useless ai >_>
Why couldn't they have done this similar to ff7 remake or even better?
I have no issue with action based combat, and I have no issue with the companions, just wish they were more realistic and not just essentially statues.
@@pedramcq they hired a DMC5 battle director, so yeah theres that.
Too dark. I’ll stick with ffx for now
😂
Lol, Clive survived tho dw
Hopefully Square Enix could make Final Fantasy 17 less depressing & with cheerful endgame. We are still recovering from FF16 & 7;Rebirth's wounds 🥲
This game looks amazing but doesnt feel like a FF
this was the best final fantasy game and it was hot garbage
Worst ff since 13
Why you said that?🤔
no way this is worse than 15

Nah, this is the best Final Fantasy game since 12.
@@Yamaneko81the gameplay of far better but the story is like it was made by a 18 year old webtoon creator
