Paul, brilliant that you do this from viewers. Your channel should have more subscriptions! 🪙
Thanks to you, I’ve been able to build a list to use when inspecting coins for errors and varieties on large ONE PENNY coins. Love the George IV designs.
I am glad you said "when I can get round to it" I know I said I will do a post on £1 & 2 Pound it will be soon.
The 1902 Low Tide penny in the first picture was in really nice condition. It's such a shame it was pierced. And I think the Cartwheel penny must have been a reproduction. The detail of George III was nice but the ship didn't look right. A great video 👍
For the 1936 penny, this is just post mint damage - reminds me of the so called "dryer coins", meaning ones that fell into a dryer and the constant tumbling made their rims deformed and raised. Even if this is not exactly what happened to this coin, I'm willing to bet it was something similar in nature.
Another enjoyable video Paul thanks, Susan's Irish 1/2d's are George III 1st issue 1766 Spink catalogue number 6612, unfortunately are quite worn and corroded, so not worth much. On the George III cartwheel penny, if you look the kings name is touching the inside edge of the raised outer rim, the legend usually touches the outer edge of the raised rim.
The 1854 is heavily cleaned gone pink colour is off .
Thank you Paul, i really need those to be identifyed. The 89 yr man the owner of those already kicked the bucket so i need to return them to his son with some answers..
some nice ones there Paul 👌 🤘
I like the cartwheel penny great to see different peoples coins ⚓️🧲👍
The Cartwheel lools Fishey...
Thanks for knowledge, just starting to collect 🤗👍🙏
Another Great Video Paul. I think the Cartwheel penny is a Copy because of the weight 😊 Nice one Paul 👍
How lovely to see another of your videos!
Could you make a video about how you film and edit videos? Think this would be very interesting.
Great vid and info.
Love it when you play Sherlock 🕵️
The 1936 penny looks like a dryer coin. Definitely post mint damage.
I have a coin exactly like the cartwheel penny but dated 1799, now mine is slightly more worn around the head, the face does look similar, yet when I turn my coin over the reverse is upside down to the obverse, is it possible this is a major error and do you know who I could contact about this please ? Thank you.
I found a 1910 shilling in good nick .Is it worth owt.
