@@MerkhVision it’s because everything has tropes in it. There’s no way that anything you make is 100% original because humans have been creating for so long. The thing that makes tropes useful as opposed to tired/overdone is how you use them in an interesting premise to create a story that grabs attention

The translation is off, in the original it's more like Passion Pose, but whatever. You should try the subtitles some time though.
I want more from Passion Pose. A teacher. The protagonists rival, that becomes a friend. The underclassman, that's way too cute and good at posing, but in the end sees their inferiority to Deborah's amazing, effortless posing without posing - vowing to become better then Deborah one day!

all the clubs are related to posing: yoga, pilates, miming, figurative 'dance', figure skating, photography...
and then Debra/Deborah realizes she's bi with the president and her storyline changes into trying to figure out why she looks both ways (pun intended)
They probably would have a musical number, and for some reason, I can't stop thinking about the mc having a version of Scream, from HSM 3. Only with pilates, interpretative dance, or similar.

The title of the light novels is "Passion Pose!! Finally a School where Everyone is Up Front About Being a Poser." The entire thing. The game adaptation shortens the title, but keeps the two exclamation marks.

Deborah thinks she has no good pose but Yusuke tells her that her pose is the most important - she is standing straight and gives perspective.
Yusuke Satoshi has an embarrassingly awkward pose that he is very passionate about, we learn that it is inspired by a retired professional poser that mentored Yusuke.
Takeshi only does stable athletic poses like squats and lunges and he hates the weirder poses (like the ones Kimiko does). Later on we learn that it's because his father used to do crazy inventive poses but that lead to his parents' divorce. His mother has been very abusive about this (kinda like Nagisa from Assassination Classroom).
Takeshi learns the value of inventive poses and comes accept Kimiko's weird reclining-while-leaning-forward pose. At the end of Season 1 he confronts his father during the cultural festival and their relationship improves from there.
Kimiko is shy and insecure about her large, flat feet. She thinks it makes her a bad poser and hence she tries to compensate by only doing seated poses and doing well in other things (even going so far as to become the student council president). After the second season, Takeshi meets Kimiko on the school's rooftop and tells her how her feet are perfect for the kind of stable and athletic poses that he loves. From then onwards, Kimiko stops relying on seated poses.

When I saw Karina's pose, the first thing I thought of was a guy trying to show off by saying that he's really into yoga, then stretching to show how flexible he is only to get stuck in that pose and just try to nonchalantly pull it off.
Deborah is the naive transfer student who joins the posing club as 'The Natural' and has mastery over the 'windswept onlooker' pose. In competitions she somehow summons gusts of wind, perfectly framing her beautiful hair, the only feature we ever see.

When I saw reclining AND leaning forward, this is what I imagined:
You know when you're leaning back on a four legged chair, reclining nicely, but then it starts to fall backwards and you shoot forward trying to save yourself from the fall? Yeah that. That's what I thought of almost immediately.

I thought more like, lying across several seats of a couch but you've put your phone (or whatever) just out of reach on a table to the side and just slightly behind you. One arm propping you up as your torso twists and leans forward, trying to stretch your fingertips towards your phone.

POV: You've just let go and fallen out of this person's grip as they're trying to save you. That's why they're "feeling sad" and also why they're reclined while leaning forwards, with one arm raised and both palms up. (I know it's not a great drawing but that's sorta what I was picturing.)

I thought about a standing up pose from this kind of chairs, when your lower back is still reclining, but your upper back is leaning and your arms are forward because you' trying to stand up.

I was going to say Karina's boy could either be on the swim team or the track team (but also a tsun delinquent). Jacob's boy could be in the newspaper club that is going to be disbanded if they don't get another member. Julia's girl could have been in drama club before student council.

This seriously makes me want them to make a game. Dating sim or a monster prom style game by drawfee. That would be amazing with all thier skills combined. Also write some dialog for all the drawtectives backgrounds and characters and Julia could release that stuff on steam as a detective game. You could base the dialog on the videos and each one of the casts characters could be a character you pick at the start with different skills. Makes me think of how the adventure zone became a graphic novel.
I would give up my life's savings for this to happen.
