I’m a huge Lockdown fan and now I have composite brush. I’m a happy creative. Saves so much time and having predictable results means the world. Thank. You.
Hy Chris, you think you could whip to a quick demo of this for Fusion? For example, trying to roto eye holes on a face, just get either pure black mattes or even alphas punched out that follow the lockdown mesh. I managed to get alphas punched out AND following the mesh BUT I have NO idea why its working. Mangled and pushed and pulled nodes all over and have no idea how I got here, ha ha. just a quick over on how to set up the nodes and what they're doing for roto and alphas would be awesome Thanks gain, loving it
Yeah, the roto stuff is sort of a checkpoint for "What can I do here", but I think effects is really where it shines. I've seen some cool zombie examples where they comped distortion effect bulges to make the eyes bigger, and added a whole bunch of damage. Also creating a hand drawn effect over the footage.

besides the fantastical magic of your evolving Lockdown, I always learn so much non Lockdown stuff in your tutorials. gift that keeps on giving !
Thanks I was really wondering how this worked out in lockdown, it's very helpful
I'm guessing the rotobrush would work on the stabilized layer? That would be a massive time saver.

Great tips man!! I've used other effects in the lockdowned layer. Works so well! Mainly cornerpin in most shots.
