Which new feature are you excited to try out on the new Moog Muse? Check out Daniel’s “sounds only” demo on the Sweetwater channel 👉 ruclips.net/video/PSc9kR29eNs/видео.html
New features are a (very) nice-to-have. What I really wanted was the good old polyphonic Moog sound last known from the Memorymoog, but not the One. And yes, here it is in my studio! :)
I hope they can increased the patch capacity pretty soon, I ordered one while I was eyeing the arturia’s new poly synth. Based on demos alone I can tell the Muse has the sound I’m looking for on my new poly synth. I’ll still get the Teo-5 when I can order one thou
Great demo. I'll be sticking with my Moog One for now, as this is still a downgrade to the One. But I can understand if someone else sells their One for the Muse. It seems to be more for players than synth patch creators. Not having polyphonic aftertouch is still wild to me. And I agree with someone else in the comments; it sounds more like a Jupiter 8 than a Moog. Which isn't bad. Unless you view it as a bad thing. :)
I don't think it has much to do with the one, given that it has different oscs and filters. There will likely be some sonic overlap, but it's basically a different machine, as far as I can see.
definitely not a downgrade from the Moog One, I'd even say sonically it's a huge step up, but I never liked the One. It always sounded very generic and uninspiring, and lacked the real vintage sound of a Moog.
@@stateazure that's what I think about the Muse. It sounds way thinner than the One in person. The only thing better about the Muse is the overdrive. But that can be done on the One by taking the sub-outs and inputting them back into the audio in, then using the adv mixer options to dial it in.
@@TheCanadianDreamEvergreen definitely a downgrade and different. Less of everything pretty much. And as I've been playing both in my studio I can hear that the One is more full sounding for a polyphonic. The only thing the Muse has over the One is the overdrive lever. But that can be accomplished on the One by taking the sub-outs and inputting that back into the audio in and then adjusting the adv mixers parameters to what you want.

@@RayyMusikyeah you got it, the good old polyphonic sound 👍🏻
Short and sweet. Perfect!

This looks great
The first Moog that I didn't say: Meh..
And Daniel seems more enthusiastic about the Muse compared to his Moog One videos.
Yo i bought a demo model Muse from Sweetwater. Can’t believe i may be tickling the same keys as King Daniel. Wow
