Went through a cross-country move and quite a large family/life change a couple years ago to a position that was MUCH more busy (I am a part of 6 different departments in my role and have 5 different direct “bosses”). Have struggled along for 2 years and succeeded at pleasing everyone else, including my family. But it never felt like I actually had direction.
This summer I’ve built a Life Plan and put that into effect. Also constructed a digital version of the Full Focus planner from several other planners I bought that others had made (basically just a pdf that I write my Daily Big 3 with my Apple Pencil, like a real pencil, but it syncs with my phone).
With the thousands of productivity tools and videos on RUclips, I find this “system” to be the most simple and adaptable.
Also share a lot of history with your story-military, evangelical, etc.
MTFBWY. Also was a prequel-era kid.
That’s awesome! Yeah, I’m the same way, there’s a lot of ways to easily over complicate this stuff with a 73 page notion template, I love the simplicity. Dude, this comment made my day :-)
Excellent videos. I recently subscribed. I also use todoist, and just want to clarify something. I keep my work tasks in todoist and work project plans in Evernote. Do you use the FFP solely for tasks/projects outside your work and your tasks for work in todoist? thank you, B
Thanks! Glad to have you! I use Todoist as my catch-all for personal and work tasks and FFP for being strategic - tying my "big 3" tasks to my priorities and goals. The physical planner helps me ensure my priorities aren't pushed aside by the "urgent. "
