The documentary of Filter during the short bus touring w Matt walker and geno and Frank was just and continues to be a sheer joy of seeing a proper band that cares about executing live but let's loose and wrestled eachother and creates an energy and atmosphere for their fans that is their own little world - it is a source of such pride and joy for me to revel in their beautiful music- seeing them raw in the videos, and turning to the darker sounds when that needs to be ventilated from my brain- I will always love this band and cheer for Rich Patrick's story arc. What a champ.

This yank off was in NIN for a cup of coffee. The trouble with Angels is a great record
Actually he recorded the one guitar part on PHM. He was Trent's show going buddy to see Ministry and Skinny Puppy, he was the touring guitarist for the bands first tours including opening for GnR. Trent thanked his live band in the liner notes for Broken, and later stated that it set him in the direction he went.
Also Short Bus is the perfect album.
Richard Patrick was in NIN longer than Dave Grohl was in Nirvana.
