Hello,
I set the length of one EMA to 48, the other to 12, and the other to 3. This works very well for XAUUSD scalping for 1, 5, 15 minute time frames.
Small Positions (100-500 pips): Must EMA3 Cross EMA12 (Up or Down)
Long Positions (1000-5000): Must EMA 12 Cross EMA 48 (Up or Down)

if the ema crosses or closes above the longer ema but comes back down into the smaller ema, do you still take the trade

Thats all nice and cool but how am i gonna use the ATR on mt4
Most traders including myself use MT4 the strategy looks very nice
But due to lack of knowledge (atr in mt4) i cant use this strategy

you would have your chart pulled up to analyze on tradingview and place the trade on mt4.

To add TradingView indicators to MT4, you need to12:
Navigate to “File” in the upper left hand corner and then select "Open Data Folder".
From there navigate to the folder called "MQL4".
From there navigate to the folder called "Indicators".
Drag and drop the indicators that you want to install into this folder.
Close the folder windows.
Close the MT4 platform.
Re-start your MT4 terminal.
Drag your indicator from the Navigator to the Forex Chart.

100 trades are less, for 1m tf backtesting should be on the duration of atleast 1 week or consecutive 5 days

how is atr values shown as 0.00033 ? When I apply atr it shows 0 to 100 as values ..

This was on EURUSD... try that market. I had the same issue when i looked at this on a different market (DAX i think from memory). EURUSD works for me

I trade a couple of pullbacks to the 50 ema after the first one. Doesn’t always work obviously but when it does I can nail 3-4 trades a day

not true on a 1 min TF you should get minimum of 100 crosses in a week 5min TF 50 crosses 15mins TF 15 crosses
