    Great shooting, Alex. Looking after a friend's greenhouse for the next two weeks, whilst they're on holiday in Greece. Besides the bonus of fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, there are a lot of ferral skyrats in the garden. Only trouble, is the nosy neighbour next door who feeds the bloody things, so secret operation to get my gun down there, and get shooting. Big Steve, East Yorks.

      @@AniketKapse it will help when we remove those too. Like I said in the video, my other permission is already clean - we removed the sky rats, and now go back every couple of weeks or so to remove what 3 or 4 pigeons noticed the location, so that those 3 or 4 don't bring more.

    Seeing the empty warehouse at 12:35 really shows the size, and that means the number of skyrats than can inhabit/pollute the area and the grain. Interesting to see the scrapes on the concrete floor from their equipment. I wonder, while they were cleaning the warehouse out, if they saw the sheer volume of skyrat waste, and appreciated what you're doing to help solve that problem. One skyrat at a time, (unless you luck out and get a two-fer head shot! ) Great shooting as usual. Cheers!

      Thank you, Steven, I would've never thought about that possibility, mate 🤔 I wouldn't expect to see a racing pigeon there, although I've had several encounters with those, perhaps birds that got lost. I honestly can't make up my mind, mate... 🙂 All of the ones I've used are good guns. A semi auto would be more helpful if you're out in the fields, hunting a "wilder" target.

      Yeah I never seen that and I got into airgunning 4 years ago . Stopped for a year or so for archery. Realized I suck at it. Got a .25 cal brocock bantam hr a month ago . And have a FX gladiator mk1 from a friend arriving . Buying Night vision next week. And compressor. Just managed to get some perms again for Rabbits . Wife's unimpressed at the rate I'm spending money😅 I wonder what she will say I'm buying a cat for hunting 😂

      Then I'm glad I didn't target the one with the payment ted wings, mate. I always watch out for tags on their legs, I don't want to shoot someone's pet or racing bird. But, as you know, sometimes they go rogue or get lost and start hanging out with the ferals, and mistakes happen. That being said, I have several occasions in which I've helped lost and exhausted birds (the last one was pure white, not sure of the breed), fed her, sheltered her for the night, called the owner (400 km away) and let her go, I hope she found home.

    If you went to a lighter, slower pellet, wouldn't the pigeons be more likely to get airborne so as not to drop in place, and not fall to the ground?

      It depends on a number of factors, but for long distance I prefer slugs, especially in wind 😉

      @scotts2565 Год назад +1

      LOL.... I'm in the position to buy one but can't decide. I like the compactness and semi of Leshiy2 but thinking the shot count and power at longer distances may be better on the RTI. Also thinking the Leshiy2 may be louder, some of that being the semi action.
      Keep making those great videos
