가상의 디스토피아 대한민국을 배경으로 전 국민이 참여하는 라이브 법정 쇼를 통해 정의에 대한 메시지를 전하는 드라마 ‘악마판사’. 파격적이고 신선한 소재로 연일 화제가 되고 있는 가운데 첫 번째 OST를 공개한다!
1세대 인디밴드로 대표되는 ‘허클베리핀’이 참여한 드라마 ‘악마판사’의 첫 번째 OST ‘Tempest’가 발매된다.
밴드 허클베리핀은 1997년 결성해 제5회 한국대중음악상에서 최우수 모던록 음반상 수상, 한국대중음악사 100대 명반에 2개의 앨범이 수록되는 등 탄탄한 음악성을 기반으로 마니아층으로부터 꾸준히 사랑받아왔다. ‘인디밴드 계의 자존심’이라는 별칭답게 허클베리핀은 직접 작곡, 작사한 ‘Tempest’를 통해 첫 드라마 OST에 참여한다.
‘Tempest’는 ‘폭풍’이라는 뜻의 셰익스피어의 마지막 희곡의 제목처럼, 배신과 시련, 절치부심 그리고 복수를 담고 있다. 특히 마술을 사용하는 장면에서 공개 재판을 진행하며 대중들을 좌지우지하는 주인공 요한이 연상되기도 한다.
‘빛과 어둠’ 그리고 ‘변화’를 가사로 그려낸 ‘Tempest’는 왜곡 많은 세상에서 자란 요한의 어두웠던 과거와 이후에 역동적이고 강렬하게 변모하는 그의 삶을 음악적으로 표현하는 데 중점을 뒀다. 전체적으로 비트가 묵직하게 실린 가운데, 전반부는 요한의 어릴 적 슬픈 모습을 멜랑꼴리한 감성으로, 중반부 이후에는 힘 있게 변하는 내면을 밴드 허클베리핀의 스타일로 표현했다.
한편, 법관의 가면을 쓰고 탐욕스러운 권력자들을 가차 없이 징벌하는 법정 쇼의 악마판사 '강요한(지성 분)’과 그의 숙적으로 빼어난 외모와 영민한 두뇌를 소유한 '정선아(김민정 분)'의 위선적이고 치밀한 법정 쇼로 화제인 tvN 토일드라마 '악마판사'는 매주 토, 일 밤 9시 tvN에서 방송된다.

I loved everyscene where the car shows especially when yohan chasing the son of minister of justice car, damn they have really good shots, feels like im watching the most expensive car advertisement. This drama deserves a lot of awards. The only thing lacking of this drama is the promotion. Theylack of promotion for this masterpiece. Put it on netflix and im sure they will got the highest rating.

the Devil Judge is insane. I have never watched a Korean drama before. This is my first time. The cast, plot, directorial work and even musical accompaniment are all at the highest level. I have already familiarized myself with the cast, in the future I will watch TV shows with their participation. I'm looking forward to the next episode.

Jinyoung is an amazing actor too. He is lead in HE IS PSYCHOMETRIC. U should definitely watch it.

In defendant he lost his memory and try to find who kill his wife and daughter.
In familiar wife he wants to change his partner until he realize that they actually meant for each others.
In doctor John he is a doctor who suffers CIPA ( Congenital Insensitive to pain with anhidrosis) a very rare disease that human has that is not feeling any pain. But he is a very talented and skills as a doctor too.
One of the best K Dramas I've seen lately, so well produced - this track kind of sticks in my head. Ji Sung has to be one of the best Korean actors IMO,

I’m often left feeling awkward in some scenes in Kdramas when I would expect the actors to better act their characters, be it by lack of acting skills, or more often, by bad directing choices. Fair to say that was NOT the case. Devil Judge two ? With the same OST ? YES PLEASE.

Premium series in its ways... Rich ambiance, dark plot, most of all strive amongst life reality and belief.
The Devil Judge is such a top notch series and it's ost's are all top notch as well. Like gosh, I am having goosebumps watching and hearing both the video and the song.
This song matches Kang Yo Han's devil character so well, so far one of the best kdramas with a strong, flawless ost!

The producers did a great job for all the osts. Theyre really bringing out the dystopian and cool vibes from kang yohan. Even down to the bgm like that one violin kinda bgm. So impactful

One of the best Korean drama series ever, Ji Sung played the Devil Judge character so well that one might think the role was tailor made for him. Well done 👏
I've been falling down a Ji Sung rabbit hole in part because of what I've seen of this show. The closest Western actor I can liken him to is Claude Rains--could be the hero or the villain/heavy, sly, unpredictable, but you would absolutely trust him to lead you through the story from beginning to end. Whew! What a talent.
This is one of the best korean drama l watch and l can say that l dont love any korean drama but Ji sung dramas kill me heal me and this and l want to watch secret also just because of him he is a Great actor

I'm here again..!!Away from Squad game, and any 2021 dramas, in my opinion, this series deserves more popularity because it represents "greatness" neither in terms of acting nor in terms of actors, events and places, well thought out and well mastered... Jisung never failed It excites me and impresses me every time I watch it. I simply adore him and his acting. He is one of the best Korean actors and one of the greatest that Korea has known in terms of actors.And I'm 100% sure of my personal opinion
