I was going to comment that the announcer missed the opportunity to say, "There is nothing wrong with your television set." Unfortunately, the Outer Limits premiered in 1963.
It would have been cool if all the MLB teams who were around in 1954 wore their uniforms from that year. I guess teams who didn't exist back then (Tampa Bay, for example) would wear the earliest uniforms they had.
Man I took for granted how beautiful baseball looked back in the day even though I wasn't even born when this was happening damn technology has really destroyed society because we're so compliant and needing it nowadays that if you didn't have it the world will probably be a better place.
It looks great except for two (1 and half really) things that break to immersion. The Fox logo and what looks like all the Giants players have been stabbed in the stomach.
I love how the announcing crew has no clue what's going on, as if they didn't get the memo to play along with it and instead are explaining to us like we're children that "The game is intentionally looking weird because that's how it looked back then, wow"
The vintage broadcast is a genius idea. Whoever thought of this, give that man a raise
The broadcast was sick! But it would’ve been better if they removed the giant FOX MLB AT RICKWOOD FIELD logo
MLB should do more of these
The whole game should have been done like this
It looks very cool!
I wouldn’t hate it if they did a couple of these a year.
I really like the view from behind home plate.
That was incredible. If teams incorporated this here and there, it would be amazing

That would be a great idea. Which is why MLB would never do it 😂
Kinescope never dies!
MLB should do this for every game

This section of the game was pretty cool to watch. They should've did the whole game like this.
Should have "done"...
should've used a filter on the microphone and used a trans-continental accent
Now THAT is cool.
This was awesome watching it live.
I would watch a whole game in black and white
This was dope 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Blast from the past. ❤
Great to see this where I seen my first game as a kid in the 80s
I "saw"...
@@areguapiri are you in the English Police I don't believe I spelled incorrect grammar "saw"

All that preparation for one game
This was awesome
They shouldn't have changed the camera angle. You can actually see movement and speed of the pitches.

None of that ridiculous exit velocity and launch angle nonsense on the screen.
Why did they overlay a film projector sound effect over the broadcast?
That's what it sounded like doing broadcasting back then
This doesn't look right... HD imaging with black and white just doesn't go together and it really seems fake.
First
let’s gooo i got first comment

A few too many white guys to be authentic.
You mean the virtue signaling is real??? Well, I'll be...
