- Happy New Year everyone, In this episode of On The Bench I take my Pro-Line Power Wagon body and repaint it from the outside using a Polycarbonate paint as a base coat followed by some Rustoleum spray cans afterwards. Very happy with how the body and video came out! Enjoy!
Rustoleum's website does say that Painter's Touch 2X Ultra, Specialty for Plastic and Rustoleum Universal will all bond well on Lexan Polycarbonate themselves.

I just watched a video of a guy spraying lexan straight up with both those paints, krylon and rustolium. Both stuck and didn't chip.
Why is this secret hidden?? Crazy.

Excellent job! Were you able to get the effect you wanted when the body got scratched up? I am looking to do the same with a brand new unpainted body.

Sorry for late reply, still haven't finished the project! Just got some hand made bumpers so i will report back when complete!
Folks only use lexan paint on lexan body's might look good at first but it will chip beware watching these videos of people using the wrong paint for the job beware
Body was painted with lexan (polycarbonate) paint first. Thanks for your input. There are different ways to do things. :)
You know polycarbonate paint is a big fucking rip off,krylon fusion or Rust-Oleum 2x does a wonderful job and is formulated to bond to plastics of all types,i stopped paying for that shit paint in a 1oz bottle years ago,12 oz can of fusion is 7 bucks
