Opening Canister Filter...

I have been pushing this for too long, but i am finally opening my canister filter, after more than 6 months. Since I got rid of my aquarium tilapia fish, the canister filter has been sitting in my basement, turned off and for me to start modifying my second fish tank, I need to get rid of the canister filter first.
