When I saw the news this morning on my phone I thought it was a mistake. A huge mistake. I lost my grandfather on Mother's day, so to read that he had left as well. My emotions couldn't take it. I made sure to catch him every morning . His sense of humor was unmatched. I miss seeing him already.
He passed quickly on Friday. We're all in shock and the network now has to scramble to rearrange the morning lineup for Monday and the rest of the week. There will never be another Sam, not meant to be. Each of US has our own place and will be grieved over one by one.
