Normally if two trains are in the same track and from the opposite side, nothing will happen because the railroad system monitors them. And if they didn't see it, the engineer and conductor will stop the train so there'll be no damage

+Mel enjoy depends on how long the train actually is... sometimes 2 and a half miles to stop if its long enough.
