That was just a pathetic attempt by the goalie. He just gave up on it thinking it was over the top when he could have jumped up and punched it out before it dropped in.

Yeah. They love him in Munich. He is like the perfect family guy, who scores the goals, works hard on the pitch and is a gentleman. If Bayern wins the UCL, Kane will be hailed as a legend at Bayern.
As a Tottenham supporter I have nothing but love for Kane , sad he’s gone obviously but I will continue to support his career for as long as he plays because he gave us so much

Kane was my ticket to association football. As an American, football is a different thing altogether and until relatively recently, association football in the USA was a minor distraction from baseball, basketball and ... American football. It was maybe 6 years ago I discovered that NBC and a few others were uploading highlights of Association football and it was these highlight videos that brought Kane to my attention. I did not even know who Tottenham were but I happened upon a Spurs game and was simply blown away by the instincts of Harry Kane. I became a Spurs fan then and there and have had the ups and downs that Tottenham fans everywhere have had to deal with. It was with no small amount of sadness that Kane left us, but I can not bemoan him his shot at a tittle or two.
Amazingly, after Harry's departure and the arrival of Ange Postecoglou, we have made a run to the top of the table and are playing better and with more joy then I can ever remember, AND, Harry is now on a club that gives him the shot at titles and trophies he could not get at Spurs. For me, he will always be the guy that opened my eyes to the beautiful game, and this shot from his own half is testament to the unrelenting talent that is Harry Kane!

If he stays there he'll win a number of trophies (just like Lewandowski) and he may even break some goal scoring records, although that's more down to team discipline and the tactics of Bayern where they rely on that most forward striker to score rather than the individual greatness of any particular player.

In all honesty this is the best goal I’ve seen since Stankovic did something similar against Schalke. Hats off to Kane he’s a living legend.
I agree, it's right up there as one of the best halfway line goals i've seen, but my personal favorite is by Fabrizio Miccoli...he scored a crazy volley from halfway which is worth checking out!

@@pandadoublexl What are you talking about? Any goal scored from halfway HAS to include a mistake by the goalkeeper. It is absolutely impossible to beat the goalkeeper from halfway unless the keeper is off his line (which is a mistake).
