Thanks for the review. This made me want this. Since I've watched your review, I started to buy some pale rider kits like the expo exclusive ground armament in metallic blue pale rider, and black rider. I'm hoping to get this kit and the red giants ground gundam and gms' bundle. More power to you.
The extra 100mm machine gun mold is because the grip handle is ever so slightly thicker. If you build it with the old mold it flops in the hand, I know because I accidentally built it that way before changing it to the actual one!
There is a translation of the mobile suit aggressor, but for the extra equipment.In manga the ground type shield and machine gun is what it came with in the beginning. The gbo equipment is the last equipment grave . As the pale rider enter production the red rider was deem unnecessary . So they took the latest data gave the red rider final equipment. later being tune by the creator of the riders series after the battle of jaburo.And quite literally cut all ties to the red rider and the squad it was in leaving them with the e.f.s.f
I really can't bring myself to get another pale rider variant but I love that beam dagger/gun combo so much, I wish they would release a rider weapon pack
The gun handle is thicker in the one they tell you to use. The rider kits have bigger hand hole than regular hg kits. Try one of their beam sabers or guns in a regular hg kit and the hand cover will either start to come off or it won’t fit.
I get what you mean since these are technically game/manga exclusive mobile suits and that entails a little bit more freedom kinda like the GM Striker custom from Gundam Katana

The reason for the zweihander is purely theme. Red Rider is based on "War" who wields a large sword. As for the custom 100mm machine gun blade? ... rule of cool lol. In the manga the machine gun LAUNCHES its beam blades (strangely noted as "heat blades" in GBO2) and the zweihander also has cable launching utility. The suit is kinda over the top but the manga is pretty good it belongs to, despite its weaponry it does get banged up quite a bit as its original specs are roughly of a GM until it gets updated to its final configuration.
Can't help but be reminded of Bravenwolf from Tenkai Knights whenever I see this model.

In the manga, the Zweihander has also been used while it's on the arm.
The build instructions show that configuration also.

I think you're mistaking Pale Rider for Blue Destiny at the start; Missing Link came out in 2014 for PS3, so the mold is not really that old

It's neat, but it feels too over the top for Universal Century. It feels more like a Build Fighters design.
