So here it is: Maximum bet The maximum bet that can be placed on a pokie in a single spin varies by state. In Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, and Queensland, the maximum bet is $5. In NSW, the ACT, and the NT, the maximum bet is $10.
@lukardobeze21 casinos are exempt..i once did a $600 max bet on more chilli in the star,obviously the Sovereign/Oasis room, the main gaming floor is $10 max here at the star but not at Crown in Melbourne, you could enter a seperate room uninvited where you could bet like Sovereign/Oasis room here..Im certainly not recommending or promoting these places to anyone ,in fact quite the opposite, STAY AWAY FROM THESE ESTABLISHMENTS because you will lose

yeah in the gold section of the casino in Adelaide, I think the top bet is like $250 or something like that. But I never get that high..
