When living in ATL I worked at sprint store as a technician and Ronnie came into the store one night and needed his phone fixed because it wasnt working right and I damn near hit the roof because I grew up on these guys and am a big fan of the group..this guy came in and was acting like he wasnt a star or part of a mega group..was so humble and asked could I fix his phone..man forget fix his phone I just gave him another one and he sat their and talked to me for about 30min..best day of my life so to my man Ron thanks for the memory bro and god bless you all

Actually it was in the early 2000 and smart phones were not around yet...he did give me his real estate card though which I still have..Good dude

@@reginaldwilliams6241 Actually I checked the phone and that model was known to fail so it was not against the rules in fact the technicians job at that time was to make sure that the customer was satisfied...did him being a member of my favorite group play a part in my decision...probably....lol but no it was not against the rules...the last question about extra money..no we are not allowed to take money as long as they had the insurance plan on the phone

Props for getting his life together after putting himself through so much over the years. He has cleaned up a lot in recent years, mentally and physically. Like Sway said, we need to stop focusing on the wrong and celebrate when folks do well. But yes, agree to disagree.
He looks great as far as he has more inner peace, and serenity. Wisdom is graced upon his spirit.

I love them NE for life! Mike is such a calm and wise soul. When I met him briefly at an amusement park in Agawam Massachusetts called Riverside (now six flags). He was just as calm then as he is now. He respects and acknowledges all his fans. He is a cool a%# dude. Thank you for this interview.

I was always listening to New Edition, while all my friends we listening to New Kids On The Block. WBBD - Boot City, The Remix Album and Bobby's "Don't Be Cruel" were the VERY FIRST CDs I ever purchased. Still have them today!

Love these guys , they’re awesome and living Icon. Listening to Mike speaking let’s me know that these men are the truth in the industry, they know their ways around this industry, only wish that they would leave out the profanity, lol when I listen to interviews like to be able to play it for the children at church without all the beeping. Rickey is the only one who speaks without profanity, such a intelligent guy my favorite NE. and a true believer in God. Bobby has moved into lol 😆 second Favorite. I really have great respect for these 4 guys.
I'm not gonna lie, other than Candy Girl, Poison, Can You Stand the Rain, and Bobby B, I never really knew who NE was until I watched the biopic. Now, I love their music, all their music! I just discovered HIT ME OFF and RUN by BBD and those are my jams! NE is the best R&B/Hip Hop group in history. Y'all got a whole lotta new fans from the two biopics, and I'll keep up with y'all for the rest of y'alls careers!

You can’t help but realized Mike has it on target, the truth was told by this man on this interview. Speaking from my experiences, to much slips by when you don’t listen. That’s my definition of a group, each person doing what they do best for the whole of the group.
Great interview. All the guys drop jewels, but Sway knew what he was doing to wait to ask Mike the last question. I wouldn't want to follow that. Also special to shout out Heather B, and Sway at the end. Class.
