If you are farming over and over again in arms race, and youre not doing a playthrough, you can do the revolter glitch and have 200% bonus shock damage without any gear

@RanovBR yeah it still works. You want a revolter with "on action skill start" annointment. Cast your action skill and immediately go into your inventory and drop the revolter on the ground. Wait for the effect to stop. Equip a different shield THAT IS NOT A REVOLTER. Pick your revolter back up. Boom you now have 200% bonus shock damage from all sources. This persists through fast travel and death. Just save quit to get rid of it.

IIRC, the toboggan glitch also carries to arms race, just gotta remember to not slide

Honestly, I'd be very happy if they gave us more arms race maps in bl3, even if they didn't add any new guns.
@@mwolkove Part 2 should be like a Digistruct Version of the past Borderlands Areas in 6 parts but is randomly everytime so no playthrough is the same plus also Digistructs past boss for more variety in getting/transfering your loot.
If they could do arms race like the chaos chambers from wonderlands, I’d be so fucking happy

I like Arms Race when you are not farming for specific rolls on a gun and can just pick the first one that pops up. The mode gets real repetitive if I have to do it more in a row than absolutely necessary. But as you said, it is a very nice change of pace!
I'd be interested to see a comparison of time to kill bosses with a full god roll build vs a full dog-roll build.

That's the literally the entire point of the Fastball. It's supposed to be a grenade you can snipe single target enemies with or shred a boss.

I played Arms race just to see what it was all about and picked up a god role plasma coil on my first run. This ridiculous thing makes BL3 almost too easy! I run around with this and a 9 round Sand Hawk and you don't really need any other weapons...nothing stands in your way!
Typical God Roll farming, you get EVERYTHING you don't want and seemingly have to sell your soul to RNGebus to get the God Roll drop you want. Gotta love borderlands. 😂
Arms race is very fun. As long as you don't farm for specifics. Once you start farming it becomes hell. It's the worst when you're looking for a hulking toboggan or a plasma coil and those two are essential for moze or zane especially zane and his hulking toboggan.

If you farm for a specific Piece don't use the Character that has it's Class Mod at the same Chest because that lowers the odds for the other thing that can drop there

Tbh i really liked using the bearcat on moze back when bl3 released, i remember using it on splash moze on Mayhem 3 and running trials with a friend
I love using the *Plasma Coil* and it is probably one of my most used weapons across all of my characters (only my Moze is level 72 though because I do play games other than BL3).
When doing my own farming for the Plasma Coil, I learned to check the map right after I land to see if the circle is even going to let me get to the chest spot in time.
I'm very proud of my Toboggan, might be my only god-rolled artifact. It has: AOE damage, movement speed, & mag size. Still never got my double amp Infernal Wish. Rather not farm that tbh.

A farming question for the undisputed master of farming. Several weeks ago I lost my crop redistribution ( a tragedy of epic proportions). So for the past few weeks I have been doing the takedown in hopes of a replacement. Maybe 40 Wotan kills later and no redistribution drops. "These things used to drop practically every kill, " he mumbles... "can't be twisted rng if it encompasses weeks" more mumbles. Drop your question to the undisputed authority, he thinks. Hello?

That Arms Race mid-air headshot was a crazy shot. Fortunately, I got a god roll Plasma Coil on my third run of Arms Race.
I've been trying to get a rad Dark Army since yesterday and my thoughts on Arms Race took a 180º turn. I feel your pain lmao.
I was farming for 2 days and didn't get a single plasma coil (just got to level 72 on my first playthrough), nearly exclusively got gas mask shields and res pistols, and then a badass dropped one with the exact same parts you wanted right outside the chest that has a chance to drop it, it felt so undeserved considering I've only just started mayhem levels on my first character

I played 1 and 2 with great pleasure, but never got into max level and making OP builds or so.. then i discovered Ki11er Six!
You made Borderlands so much more fun for me, your builds, your quest's for god rolls and your allegiance videos are so damn good! After i put my kids to sleep i always look forward to watching your vids! And now BL3 is my favourite game!

Update on mine, dropped a god roll plasma coil, hard drive on my playstation got corrupted, save on cloud was bogus and was not as good, dropped a few more “god rolls” with put boosted charge speed which is negligible to be honest and still haven’t dropped a single good Zane viable hulking toboggan with mag and splash. Yup. They were for sure cheating when they made that build
ive always been unlucky when i play video games, took me 30 runs of that chest to get a single plasma coil! 😂 3 days and got 15 different drops from Arms Race except for the deticated one
Arms race is fun as long as you aren't trying to farm anything.

Arms race it's like a torture way of farming. Honestly, how many runs will you make in 5 minutes? One? Or maybe even less? And if you are seeking a God roll, it can take so much more time than usual farming. I dreamed that they would allow us to take one piece of gear for the arms race. That so we can take a Shlooter. In this way, it will be much more fun to farm than what we have now.

I like arms race except when I drop in and am immediately getting shit on by 27 badass heavy enemies of every element and 4 anointed tanks when all I have is a white pistol with 8 damage, 10 mag, and 1.3 fire rate 😐

Arms race is fun when doing challenges with friends
Instead of putting yourself through the torture of doing an Arms Race run over and over again to get a God Roll Plasma Coil, why not instead farm IndoTyrant for the God Roll Woodblocker, Manvark for God Roll Try-Bolt or... who's supposed to drop the Rectifier?
Anointed Alpha or Turnkey Tim. Great ideas. Best gear in the game

I just can't bring myself to do arms race as is. If the game isn't crashing after 3 chests, I'm getting absolutely boned on weapons. Only time I've beaten a full run is when I got an early q system, rest of my loot was butts.
Arms race is fun I agree when you get a good run it feels good on the other hand getting a bad run it's like getting kicked in the balls

Arms Race sucks if you are doing a manufacture or weapon type allegiance run. It can be frustrating but I do i think it can be fun.

If only bearcat was good all the time
just use the revolter glitch before going into arms race. LIterally makes farming these weapons TOLERABLE. Not fun or incredibly easy but tolerable. I actually kill things fast enough to make my runs plausible.

It's upsetting seeing how good the bearcat can be, but in the base game, it's shit. Personally, I think the Bearcat is a cool weapon that could kill.
Lol I have an exact Plasma coil like the one he says he's looking for (around 5.35 in video), and mine has an annointment (When enemies below 25% health, 50% increased weapon damage). I play more borderlands 2 these days but I recognized the numbers somehow when watching these videos. Keep up the good content! Arms Race is a challenge. Some people like THAT particular challenge. Others don't. Arms Race would be better with more variety in maps and enemies/bosses.
@@Ki11ersix i guess thats true, maybe some kind of world bosses would make it more fun or they could just remove the non arms race bound legendaries from the loot pool, give us our bonuses from guardian rank and let us use the arms race legendaries inside the actual round. Like when we find a plasma coil, we should be able to equip it in that round. Idk its weird :D

Slide speed, and it can roll with blanket movement speed as well

Joltzdude has some Krieg raid kills. I think you have to use some broken mechanics

Those all look like OK drops, but none of them comes even close to what you get from Moxxie when you just give her money! An SMG that has a 40K hit capability and an assault rifle with 88K hit capability. Why even bother?
The Crit is very good but the Plasma Coil is waaaaaaaaaay better
I've ran around with the Moxxie Crit and a god roll Plasma Coil and the Plasma Coil has double the hit of the Moxxie crit...81K with shock and radiation. And if you have the skill tree, every 5th shell had incendiary. The Plasma Coil makes Borderlands too easy...plus, it has a much better stability. The Crit flies all over the place and you gotta really hold onto it to hit your target...then, the Crit seems to have an ability to know when is the exact worse time to fly out of your hands on reload...and it will. No, no comparison..the Plasma Coil makes BL3 almost too easy!
