I wish so bad that there was a mid level priced version of the rhino (and a budget one) because I absolutely adore this design but it’s waaaaaaay out of my price range… maybe some day

I'd have to go with the purple for the QSP Rhino. It looks really good with the mokuti. I'd say the backspacer has file work rather than jimping, since it's decorative rather than for grip functionality.

It’s a good looking very well built knife, but mine is too small for my medium large hands. Because of that it’s back in the box and will make a great gift next Christmas.

When you look at the penguin plus under $200, which I think is a deal, this has more of those materials and more premium hardware and extra finishes. Having said that if they come out at $299 I think they have another hot seller with the Rhino.
Also for me personally, having XXL hands, wish it was 3.37" blade with 4" handles. That would have been a great size at $340

You should check out the new EMP EDC, Relative by Bestech. Same knife but more refined imo. I like it so much I bought two, a 20cv, & Magnacut model. My vote for knife of the year.
I was going to get this knife but they didn't fix the front flipper so it was a no go for me.
I went back through and i was wrong. Sry. shreaded carbon fiber. Again great vid thanks y’all
Absolutely love the design and construction of that knife. Wish there was a D2 or 14c28 blade with chealer frame material. As that's just too much cash for me 😭

They should do a hawk or penguin in full Ti with micro milling like that hamster.
Most of them are named after animals but theres a few like the Neckmuk, Worker, Legatus, and Workaholic. That aren't animals.
I have 2 penguin 🐧 knifes 🔪 one inexpensive red micarta and the frag pattern. Also have the cooper hawk.
@Birdshot IV what other newer models have that jimping on them? That jimping is one of the main reasons I think I’ll buy a rhino soon. Most likely a $428 model. What should help sell QSP is that they make the EMPEDC knives as well. To me the rhino looks a lot like the relative!

It’s not mokuti. It’s “MokoTi” I think it’s similar to Olamic’s entropic finish. It’s supposed to mimic mokuti and fool people who don’t know the difference

Improvements needed: make thumb flipper slightly longer forward with straight jimping al the way to the tip of the flipper. Make all jimping straight, not angled. Get rid of expensive mokuti accessories and use regular titanium instead. Extend curve in handle all the way to the end of the handle for more space for fingers. Make sharpening choil deeper. Jimping on rear flipper should be rougher for more grip. Add texturing to flat sides of handle for aesthetics and grip. Then the knife will be perfect!!
