PLEASE READ (and subscribe - اشترك بقناتي): These are songs made by the Kfarabida Section of the Kataeb Party in 1976, during the Battle of Koura. The singer is Joseph Semaan Nakhoul, a martyr who died in Chekka with 13 others (shown in the video, including 3 of his siblings) while sabotaging the PLO and SSNP. The Kataeb was victorious in the Battle of Koura and expelled the enemy from the region. This is pretty much the first time they're actually published. You won't find these songs anywhere else. Incredible - bravo 3alayk ya istaz! If you could one day provide complete translations to some of these songs, you would be doing us a great service. These songs are incredibly rare, and a translation would ensure they live on. Let me know if you want help with this task.
Hey, just wanted to say- i love your videos so much!! Your account is my favorite. I especially love when you're posting songs w translation ☺️. I actually want to know arabic, are you fully speaking arabic?
In the song "Nikna ikht el Awmiyyeh" some of it is hard to make out - could you help translate? Ekhir eyyam el feda2iyyeh, RPGat w medfa3iyyeh, kinna 3a sa7et "something" : The final days of the fida2iyyeh, RPGs and cannons, we were in the "something" square - what is the name of the square he is referencing? After that at 28:08 it goes "shta2na 3alayk ikteer ikteer, ya Farou2 ayyid el a7ameer, ya 3abd el mashi, shu talli3 (billi ?), 3ira2 3atdfay elf (mawafee ?)" : We missed you a lot, oh Farouq leader of the asses, oh abd el mashi, what are you going out to (billi ?), Iraq will pay a thousand (mawafee ?) - Who is Farouq? Who is abd el mashi? What does (billi ?) and (mawafee ?) mean? I don't understand the reference.
I assume they talk about the village square of Anfeh (also written Enfeh), a town where a lot of the fighting against the PLO and SSNP organizations took place. I think it does not say "Abd el Mashi", but instead it says "Abd el Majid" referring to Abd el Majid el Rafaai, the head of the Lebanese Ba'ath Party and its militia, of course. They also fought in Koura with the National Movement if I'm not wrong I don't know if Farouq refers to Farouk Sharaa, the former Syrian vicepresident, or to another person whom I cannot think of right now. I don't know if "mawafee" is "موافد" (delegates/envoys) or if the phrase says "Iraq will need a thousand delegates".
Yet another banger by my boy ColombianBlitz
