With all the diff things I’ve tried to help with my insomnia - Mortis and other narrators are the only thing I have found beneficial in aiding faster sleep.
I feel like people are mixing up werewolves with Skinwalkers. We really shouldnt get the two mixed up. Its bad enough people get wendigos and skinwalkers confused.
Literally anything but wendigos and skinwalkers. Wendigos don't have antlers or glowing red eyes that would be the wechuge. A lot of the skinwalker stories where screwed up too
They are ur nightmares if u know that what you see is manifest of your fears nightmares they use u’ against your self!! Recognise your fear and u recognise what they are doing a bit like IT. The film it wasn’t he’s little brother it read him same thing still terrifying don’t give them any energy!!!

I'm from Arkansas a state known for its vast wooded areas as a child we heard of many stories where people claimed to have had encounters with Big Foot we lived near a couple patches of wood which were the most Eerie I've ever seen especially during evenings and night!

The things people think they are knowledgeable about. If you want something to be afraid of: it should be running into a bear. You got a lot, lot more to fear from a bear or a Puma than you will ever have to worry about the boogyman going to get you.
You know, something I've wondered when hearing these stories about people losing their friends to cryptids while camping/hunting: What happens when you guys have to tell your fallen friends' parents about their death? I'd imagine they'd have questions at the very least. Not to mention, even if cops couldn't necessarily do anything about a cryptid killing your friend, but after notifying the parents of the deceased the cops would certainly be involved in their death investigation. None of these stories I've heard have ever mentioned this part of the whole ordeal.
Seeing as how bigfoot, let alone his lesser-known cousins, have never been proven to exist, then it is obvious that no human death has ever been attributed to any of the cryptids. So not too much worry about what you would have to say to their parents, friends, kids etc.
