@@GG-un7hj yeah i think he's criminally underrated. He reminds me of Smith in that he's very athletic for his big frame (though Smith is definitely the far superior athlete)

Great job! You got something special going on here sir. It seems like you should be doing play by play. For now we are blessed to have you here keeping us up to date with the insights!
This season was amazing! Yes we lost to Michigan but we had the greatest post season run ever to win the natty. The natty pales in comparison to the fact that so many people were brought to Christ through this team! They gloried Christ through the ups and downs and glorified him every single chance they got so basically eternities saved and touchdowns were scored 😂 my all time favorite season of Buckeye football

I think Joe Montana is more of a comp for Julian Sayin than Bryce Young. Supposedly he sees the field like a Coach should. He’s now 6-2, quick release, decent arm, super accurate passer, and according to Ryan Day is a QB SAVANT, the smartest QB he’s ever coached. He was The Apple of Nick Saban’s Eye.
Been waiting for you to get back on!! Years ago you call us taking 2 or 3!!! Should’ve probably got Georgia, and had it not been Kyle McCord maybe we are at another .. good call though!!!
First, I was wondering where you were. Nice to see you back. As a lifelong Buckeye, I'm excited for next year regardless of all the other noise happening in the program with JK leaving. As long as we have the players, the coaches will be there to push them forward in their progression. I'm excited for next season to start already. 🦌👀🏈🏟️🏆
Crazy that QB is making throws my old highschool teammate used to make.. Ira Armstead ! Check out his film , this kid was the Lamar Jackson of Indiana Football
Unfortunately recruiting is not as important as it used to be. The transfer portal has kind of destroyed recruiting in many ways. You can always find what you need, especially from a top university. Not saying recruiting is not important but not nearly as important as it used to be.
Excited for Tavien St Clair but wish he was 1 year later. Saying will likely be the starter for 2 years then TSC for 1 or hopefully 2 seasons. Would have been nice to have him play for 3. Who knows how it works out but if he has a breakout season after Sayin he'd be draft eligible already at the end of his 1st year

Riley sees time in year. Immediate contributor on special teams. Starter in 2026 Faheem. Another early ST contributor. Going to be another super sophomore in 2026 alongside will-be Seniors Jaylen McClain and Malik Hartford. Delane's role in HS is exactly how OSU used Downs this year. He'll be the heir apparent. Well until Bralon Wommack. Carter Lowe. I think personally going to be a right tackle for us. Potentially a starter as a sophomore. Devin Sanchez is different. Like JJ Smith different. I expect him to be in a similar role that Jermaine played in this year. CB3 that sees time early. And then again, a stud in 2026. TSC has all the tools but he's not close to ready. Bellefountaine is not high level football in Ohio. He's got the right mindset and makeup. I expect him to contend for the job in 2027 with sophomore Brady Edmunds. He's much closer to CJ Stroud than Cam Newton. Athletic enough, but an elite dot you up pocket passer. Run to extend, rather then run to run TS. Other guys in the class that I think are notable. Let's start with the other 5 star that wasnt mentioned. Quincy Porter - a late but continuous riser. 6'4 big body WR. I personally think hes the best X receiver in the 25 class. Definitely highest upside X. Hartline does it again. Despite the 5 stars, he'll see little time this year and probably will be WR4 in year 2 with JJ, Mylan and Inniss (i think he comes back in 2026). Bo Jackson - a big body back that does it all. Comp is a higher ceiling version of Trey Sermon. More of an upright, one cut runner. Can run away from guys. Catches the ball very well. Jake Cook - that mauler, eventual multi year starter, captain center. Higher energy version of Josh Myers. 6'5. Probably doesn't see the field until year 3 but is type of guy to stay through his 5th year. Win a rimington and go to the NFL for a decade+. The 2026 Buckeyes are shaping up to be one of the best teams ever.
Projected 2026 WR Room: Junior Jeremiah Smith. Junior Mylan Graham. Senior (Captain) Brandon Inniss. Sophomore Q Porter. Freshman Chris Henry Jr., Sophomore Phillip Bell. I mean this room is going to go down in history. Unfortunately I dont see Bryson Rodgers sticking around in 2026 but he can go be great as DJ Lagway's WR1.
History would show that they will not win a national title. Especially since my team, Oregon has now won the Big10 in yr1, and beat OSU 2 of the last 3 matchups. The odds of Ohio State winning a national championship in the next 5yrs is below 10%. But as we get closer to their 10 to 12yr average, the odds increase. But, like I said, Oregon is a major factor, and now, Penn state is too. And if you look at just Oregon, they’re at maybe a 7 out of 10, in terms of maximizing their roster talent, and their output as a program. They just beat an OSU team that is maybe at a 9.5 out of 10 in terms of maximizing their possible output as a program, and I don’t think they’ll be able to field a more talented team, anytime soon. Where as Oregon will already be at an 8 or maybe higher by 2026, when Oregon will have its best roster yet, with its best HC yet….and that’s since it had its Marvel level reboot, in 1994/95. So it’s Oregons best roster of the last 30yrs…but also, OAT.
Michigan was able to beat Ohio state with a subpar team this year it’s going to get a lot harder for Ohio state. When Michigan wins the natty they win their conference first

Ohio State ALWAYS has top recruiting classes, and it still took Ryan Day SIX years to win his first Natty. Nowadays, with the NIL and the transfer portal, recruiting classes are not nearly as important as they used to be. Every year, there are going to be several of these freshman kids using the transfer portal after their freshman season to get more playing time somewhere else. I predict that Ryan Day will get FIRED before he wins another national championship.
OMG it took him 6 seasons as a HC to win a national championship look at this long list of coaches who won a national title in their first 5 seasons as a HC- Larry Coker.??..They give out a dozen national championships every year it's not like only 1 team can win it or anything.
Day won a Natty after only being a head coach for 6 years, has the highest winning % of all modern coaches, is a proven Top 5 recruiter, and QB Whisperer. So he isn't going anywhere unless he wants to. Any NFL franchise would be lucky to have someone to identify and develop their franchise QB, the most important position in sports. Plus Day is a coach that learns from his mistakes by only getting better at his deficiencies as time rolls on.
