    The best business to own in 2024 is brakes and tires, with the majority of 2024 car models weighing upwards of 2000-2500 kg

      @@jiwang28doesn’t matter can’t fight physics at this weight brakes/tires will wear much faster than we’ve been used to until now.

      The tyre and brake technology is advancing the same time as the cars are getting heavier

      Yeah tyres and brakes get slightly better over the years but it’s not just the heavy cars benefitting from it. The same gains in tyre and brake performance make it into normal weight cars too so heavy cars will just always be worse off.

    This thing will eat tires. Make sure you have $1000 set aside every 5-8K miles for new rear tires 😂

    Have no problem with the design, it looks minimal and agressive at the same time. But it's the weight. Waiting for the CS version, i hope they can shave more weight. I wonder if they can also replace batteries with solid-state to make it lighter. A high-performance sedan that weighs more than an SUV, what a shame

    Need to see the road performance. Highly doubt most people will ever take this to a track. If that’s what you want than get an M2.

    6:59 yup that's what I thought, it's alright if bmw is aiming for a more comfortable experience because afterall, they intent to make your driving easier and brute. Thank god they kept the v8 and went for a more retro styled design🔥

      Years ago Car and Driver reviewed X6, said you could use it tow your race car to the track & then race your tow vehicle, we've seen X on the Nurburgring for years, BMW have experience with this.

      This is the European version with OPF. It sounds lower than the US version

      No info yet on battery, but I don't think it fully depletes 2. We did a 0-60 towards the end

    I’m sorry because i love bmw(insted of some models that they recently showed)but i hope that this new m5 will not be sold much in numbers,only because for me is the only way that they can undestand how the m5 has been killed

    Adding 400kg of batteries to make it more efficient is up there with the G22's grill in terms of bad decisions. My guess is that the weight distribution will be something like 55:45 F:R which is hilariously bad for an M car.

      Well, the difference is that the G22 grills were a create decision. Partially electrifying the car is something they're forced into doing because of tightening emissions regulation

      @@Fat-bananas There's no real need to electrify M cars at present. Its fleet averages that matter, and low-volume models like the M5 have little impact on BMW's overall CO2 figures.

    0-100 3.5 sec, slower than the old F90🥱 what about if the tank are full and the driver 2.6-2.700kg😮🤦‍♂️old F90 is much better. This is the worst car bmw made and they let the BMW Fans down🤦‍♂️😞 so sad😢

    I heard the M5 is so heavy now that if you crash two of them together head on that you can achieve what the super collider could only dream of, and finally reverse the mandala effect.
    On a more serious note, this car is disgusting, disgusting looking and it's weight is ridiculous. I hope it fails and that BMW has to fire their designers and body/chassis engineers. Why does a M2 weight that much?! Why does the M5 weight so much it impacts the tide more than the moon?
