Linda, you’ve styled them all so CHIC! Yes, yes, yes, the darker floral skirt with the striped shirt, so funky Boho looking and always in style. Botanical with the mustardy/Olive top, to die for, extremely cool looking. The beige dress is prefect for the wedding dinner and of course the Poshmark dress is perfect for MOG (Mother of the Groom)wedding day. Linda you make everything you wear look like a Million bucks! My Mom use to tell me you can make a $5.00 dress look fantastic with great accessories and a smashing attitude! Please do more of these videos in months to come. I LOVE THRIFTING!!!!!
Ditto...What a find that botanical skirt! IMHO Linda should do a Topiary botanical apparel line! Capsule collection includes botanical skirt prints🌿
Yes… I loved this video. I could never wear mustard colors because my complexion has too much yellow. I agree totally about your wardrobe choices. The jewelry just made them chic… I think you need a pair of woven wedges and some sparkly- jeweled sandal heels… like Jimmy Choos. You’re going overseas… one expensive pair of shoes would be appropriate…
LOVE everything! Yes, the 2nd skirt. I'm a big thrifter too 😊 You have incredible natural style!
My heart smiles when I get a notice your videos pop up. Thank you for continuing to share with us always. When I go thrifting it is not for anything special just see what is available. Love your finds! Your outfits are gorgeous.
You have such an eye…in the garden, home decor, fashion…a true artist! I love the way you blend style with fun and functionality.
I especially loved this thrifting video. You are truly very creative across the board and inspirational when it comes to styling ideas.
When I go to Good Will or other thrift stores, I basically look for what “hits me” or what I am drawn to and I do like bohemian-type things (even though I am 74 ). I never look at dresses at the Good Will but think I will the next time I go. I do enjoy your channel…😊
You have totally inspired me to read “Atomic Habits”, thrift shop and garden. My back yard is so motivated by you. I’ll send you a picture when it’s green. Thanks and please keep the same videos coming with gardening, thrifting, seeing other people’s homes and being our video friend.
Love this - its a good thing that Stuart has a daughter. That definitely prepared him for a girlie-clothes fashion show.
Truly enjoyed watching your thrifted dresses and wardrobe, they are all beautiful and would look good and lovely on you! You’re so humble and practical and also an inspiration to other people. Advance Congratulations to your son’s wedding and have a blessed time in Singapore!
Sweet Linda, you never cease to amaze with your delightful fashions. It’s always so much fun to watch how you put together your outfits and accessories. You’re always fun to watch rather it’s sharing your wardrobe, home or garden. I look forward to every video to see what you’re posting. You may become the gardeners fashion icon. I’ll vote for ya!!! Hugs from Texas
I love your videos and your enthusiasm, and may I just say, it’s so refreshing to see someone so stylish yet so unpretentious. I’m really enjoying these non gardening videos, they’re so fun and so helpful. And you’ll rock all of the finds, including that bikini 😊 I hope Stuart (pardon my spelling if I got it wrong !) is going to Singapore with you, and I hope you film videos there too.
🙏🙏🙏
All of the choices are Great!
I love these segments thrown in between your gardening and house tours. I personally loved all of your choices in these new purchases. You will look beautiful in each one of them. Thanks for sharing with us.
Oh girl, this video was right up my alley! Linda, you have such an eye for color and pattern. I love thrifting too. Goodwill should sponsor you! Thanks for the fun always! XO
Thank you dear!
Just when I think you couldn’t possibly outdo yourself….you pleasantly surprised me yet again!! ~ Honestly, I don’t believe there isn’t anything you can’t do…and you do it ALL so effortlessly!!! You’re definitely a fashionista…the amazing thing to me is your ability to mix and match things together “in your head” without actually having everything in front of you is nothing short of pretty miraculous! Everything you purchased, everything you had in your closet…and the way you styled and pulled everything together is better than most seasoned high-end commercial stylists can do!! Love each and every outfit….can’t wait to see photos of you wearing all of these….what a beautiful wedding it will be!! ~
Love that you thrift a lot of your clothes. Usually don't thrift with specific things in mind. Some of my favorite pieces are thrifted.
I think it’s fun just watching you have so much fun coming up with outfits!!
Absolutely love the Ann Taylor top styled with that skirt. Color me impressed, along with being tickled pink.
Wow! The mustard shirt and skirt are my favorite, it will look so chic on you specially with the bow that you can do in the neck that is all back in style again. That was my absolute favorite, I will like to see you modeling so we can really see how it looks ! Thank you for sharing your finds! 💕💕🙏
I am a thrifter also and you inspire me so much, thank you. Love the way you think outside the box
Hi Linda, I love all your thrifted finds. I love how you styled them. I thrifted with my mom since childhood when way back then thrifting wasn't cool. I went to the salvation army when everything was 50% off this past week. I buy whatever catches my eye. Expensive doesn't always mean better. I love when you you show us your thrifted finds.
Hi Linda, when I go thrifting I do it just by meandering about. Sometimes it glassware, sometimes it’s a shirt, sometimes it’s a hat. I love these types of videos. Please keep this type of video in your Repertoire
Hi Linda! I shopped at Goodwill today. I look for items that just call my name, and I also look for items that will go with something I already own. I like everything you bought and look forward to the fashion show. I stopped by Old Navy yesterday and bought the t- shirt you wore in your video and one more. I love graphic t's, and I'm getting into more nature type designs. I really love all of your videos, however, the ones with clothes/jewelry, personal products, and makeup have become my favorite! I still love the gardening ones, though!!
I’ve been thrifting for years and I love to find truly unique and interesting clothes. I rarely go into the thrift store with a specific item in mind but go with the idea that if I see something fun I will try to style it in my head with what I already own. After work tomorrow I’m planning a thrifting excursion and hoping to find some fun spring/summer attire. I thought all of your clothes were amazing and I love how you styled them. I look forward to seeing you wear the striped top with the pattern skirt…..so cute. Thanks for all of the inspiration!
Second skirt chose with light blue stripped top looks perfect together!!!! Way to go Linda.
I love everything except I’m withholding judgement on the floral/stripe outfit. If anyone can pull it off Linda Vater can! ♥️
I was thinking the same thing. 😊
I loved this episode!! You inspire me to try to be more adventurous with my wardrobe. You are a wonderful example of bold and fun - no matter what age. So inspirational!!! Thank you!
I love the striped blue shirt with the 2nd skirt! I also love the posh mark dress. The quilter in me loves the different patterns together. Great treasures.
Love your treasures! The blue dress will be beautiful on you!
The botanical skirt with the mustard top is everythinnnnnng! 🤩🙌🏻 Thank you for the fun inspiration! My girls and I are off to our favorite thrift stores now! 🛍🏃🏼♀️
I truly LOVE that Ann Taylor shirt ! Definitely a patterned shawl with !!!
Hi Linda,
My brother lived in Singapore for 3 years. My parents went to visit. It was extremely hot in July. Don’t wear anything that clings. Love all the clothes, good job. Love the postmark dress too❤️❤️
Love, love, Love, my favorites are the long tunic dress, the last mustard outfit and the mother of the groom dress. As always Linda, great taste!
Love all the outfits. Especially love the striped shirt with dark floral skirt.
Love your thrifted items and they are styled beautifully. I usually go in to my Goodwill looking for something in particular but try and not have blinders on because the best things I have found were items I wasn’t necessarily looking for.
One of my favorite things about buying thrifted items is the process of “freshening them up”! Whether it is clothing I launder, or furniture, household items, I love scrubbing them up! Such great items today Linda. Thankyou! 💐
I just love your sense of style and yes, i LOVE these kind of videos you put out. Keep ‘em coming. You picked up some great pieces and i cannot wait to see you in them. Heck, you can make a pillowcase look amazing!
🤩Such fun outfits! Looking forward to seeing you wear them. Thank you for sharing your styling ideas. My 30 year old daughter is a regular at our local Goodwill. Over the years, she has collected some amazing finds as well. Recently, she has been clearing out her finds and selling them on-line.
Love all the looks you put together, but the Ann Taylor shirt with the botanical skirt is my favorite. Love these "fashion shows", Linda!
Love the creative vibe Linda! The hunt is the best part for me. I try to keep an open mind or at least a general category when I go thrifting. Sometimes I’ll cruise the young girl’s aisle for vests or jackets. Even the men’s dept for small suit coats that can be morphed into a modern lady’s look. Thanks for keeping it fun as we await the start to this year’s gardening season!
I love the black floral skirt with striped top!!! I have a similar ensemble that is a flowing black with red poppies skirt atop with a black and white horizontal striped top. The tip I’ve learned with pairing items is if you have blousy / flowing on top, pair it with a fitted item on bottom (e.g., loose blouse paired with leggings). Likewise, if it’s a pair of joggers or flowing skirt, pair it with a well-fitted top. Congrats to your son’s upcoming wedding!!
I just subscribed. You are doing a community service by showing people they can be well dressed without going into debt. When I was young, forty years ago, I bought all my clothes and furnished my house with thrift store and yard sale finds. I even helped clothe many friends and their children. Back then it wasn’t cool but I looked good and was able to get out of credit card debt. I live in a small town in Georgia and most people then would die of embarrassment to be seen shopping at the local thrift store. I didn’t care.
My husband and I started cruising in the early 80s. I always looked fabulous in my thrift store attire. We are trying to simplify so I no longer go thrifting. Goodwill is my go to donation place. I hope someone will enjoy the treasures I give them.
I think the Indian style dress would be perfect for a rehearsal dinner and the other dress is perfect for mother of the groom. The crocheted sheath dress would be nice with a jacket and belted with your boots.
Love your thrifted finds and love how you’ve styled the outfits! Bravo! When I thrift it is rarely for something specific....I just love the hunt for something that catches my eye!
Love your great finds & the way you styled all of them! We have the same tastes as well as thrifting. Go for it!
Linda, please come to Hawaii and style my wardrobe! 😁🌺 Hard to pick a favorite since each one was so different. The common thread was the sense of adventure you brought to each outfit! Yes to patterns & stripes; yes to the second skirt; and yes, over the years, I’ve learned to be more intentional with my clothing purchases.
The dark floral looks great with the striped shirt.
Those dresses. Love the mother of the bride dress and the caftan. Yes to the 2nd printed skirt with the stripe shirt. I mix everything but it must relate. Love the AT top with the botanical skirt. You really do have an awesome Goodwill. All you have to do is pack. This was fun.
Excellent finds and pairings. When I purchase a clothing item or accessory I generally buy it as a stand alone item without considering whether it will pair well with other clothing I already have. My favorite purchase which you made, Linda, was the one you paired with your skirt, the pairing which immediately preceded the last two pairings. Exquisite. It will take you from late summer into fall.
Sheila McDade in Chattanooga here.... speaking of young people at Goodwill, my first time to thrift there was in 1968 when my high school drama teacher sent some of us there to find costumes for our play ARSENIC AND OLD LACE !! Hey, the mustard blouse also goes with the flowered skirt you started to match with the stripped shirt...it has the mustard color at the bottom. I love all your "finds". SINGAPORE! I once had a co-worker that had lived there for several years. He talked about it all the time; loved it there and hoped to someday return. Thanks for visiting with us on a Saturday!
I have one certain piece I'm looking for but I keep an open mind for whatever comes along. Most of my wardrobe is thrift ed or consignment. Love having beautiful clothes for a fraction of the cost. I have been thriving for over 50 years.
Oh wow that blue indian dress is amazing! I love your style! So much tribal inspired pieces 💙
Everything is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Wowza! What a lot of beautiful & fun things to wear! Enjoy your spring/summer!
I love your thrifted segments. You have such a fun sense of style. 🥰 The yellow skirt with the mustard shirt is my favorite
LOVED this video and the way you coordinate your finds! Hope you do more like it. Can’t wait to see the ensembles on you!
Gosh you are so good at styling outfits! Love the thrifting treasures you find in clothing and for the garden as well!❤️
Love all your thrifted items! You have wonderful taste. No one will ever dream they came from Goodwill.
Hi Linda love all your outfits I'm always thrifting in Goodwill and yard sales and I'm 75 and I also wear the tourn jeans I'm in my garden every day and dress for success . U ARE WONDERFUL.
I love this video, so much fun! I am also a big thrifter, and have accumulated a lot of treasures. I now try to limit myself to running shoes which I try to wear with everything like the young fashionistas.
I love thrift shopping - absolute favourite way to shop for clothing, the house and garden! Some great outfits Linda.
Mother of the groom dress is super nice…..I see silver accessories with it.
Love all your finds!! When mixing patterns I always think small florals with the wider strips, bigger floral with smaller strips, so I of course love the look you put together! Great winter vlogs!! 😊
Beautiful pieces and I know you’ll style them and wear them well. Thanks for sharing!
Linda, I have always loved your fashion style and was happy when you started doing your "outfit of the day" segments. Your recent thrift finds are all beautiful! I like the blue and white striped shirt with the darker print.
LOVED all the outfits! Such lovely styling!
This was sooooooooo much fun! I loved all the outfits you put together, Linda.
Great finds at Goodwill and they fit right into your wardrobe. I liked all the combinations and accessories you shared. So much fun to watch and you're sure to have fun wearing these new pieces. Mixing patterns always catches my eye. I like it.
Love all the outfits. Also, so clever and sweet to use your second mothers choker as a bracelet! Such a great idea. ❤️
Immediately went to closet and began making outfits. Thanks for ideas!!
I love this episode! Each of these I would pass by but as you demonstrated it, I could really see your style come through!
You have a great sense of style! Love the beige dress/beach cover up. When I thrift I keep an open mind because you never know what you will find. Part of the joy is the hunt.
When I go thrifting I always keep my eyes open for baskets for plants!
I am a big thrifter too. I don't shop for clothes too much but when I do I stick to a color pallet. Then everything goes together. Also when I travel I REALLY stick to the pallet so I don't have to bring a lot shoes. It's boring compared to your style but works. Actually dresses are a good way to step out of the pallet since its all one piece. Thanks to you I have been dressing up my outfits with bracelets and earrings!
The mother of the groom dress is fabulous! 👏👏👏
All your outfits are so chic! Yes, I often pattern mix (stripes/polka dots, florals/stripes, etc.), especially for warmer weather.
You will look very classy as always in the blue dress for your son's event. Always enjoy your clothing segment.
Linda, your commitment to healthy living habits certainly blessed you.
Such beautiful thrifts you have found and will look fabulous in.
Congratulations to your son and daughter-in-law to be. Safe travels. ❤
I love shopping at GW as well. I love finding great Raloh Lauren pieces to add to my wardrobe. You did a great job mixing your new items with what you already had. Thanks for sharing!
Fun clothes! I like the way you think out of the box with the styling ☺️😍
I love all of your outfits! I do stripes and patterns together, too. I dress like I decorate! If the colors go together then everything else can work!! Singapore...how exciting!!! Best wishes from Carole in Tennessee!!!
Oh my gosh, I adore your style! When I grow up (I'll be 60 in May 😂), I could only hope to have your style! ❤️ The dress for a wedding in Singapore is beautiful...everything is beautiful...great finds!
This video was SO much fun! Great finds and I love how you styled each of them. You have such an authentic style-elegant but with an eclectic, creative edge I can only imagine is influenced by your love of travel and all things gardening. YES to mixing stripes with floral…the scale and blue color are perfect! I also loved your bright green gloves. 😍
One thing I loved about going to the office was getting DRESSED. Today, no one sees anything but a cute top and any accessories from the waist up! Sigh… So thank you for sharing such creative and fun content. BTW…what I’ve saved in shoes and gas has made for a beautiful yard! 💚🌷🌳
This was a wonderful video. Loved it. Thank you for showing the outfits put together. It helps me think out of the box a little more!
I do thrift shop, too-sometimes just to see what catches my eye and sometimes when I’m looking for a particular item. Sometimes both. It’s fun and you might be surprised at what you find. Good job, Linda! And I really like your cameraman, too.
Loved them all gorgeously appointed but so affordable..Thank You for the motivation💟
I loved the fashion show, my favorite was the Ann Taylor top and botanical print skirt. Definitely go with the darker skirt and the striped to; I quilt and mix patterns all the time but not so much in my wardrobe but I love it on everyone else. When I thrift sometimes I'm on a mission for something and sometimes I'm just looking, cause I love to thrift.
The Ann Taylor blouse and botanical print skirt was absolutely my favourite outfit. The skirt is timeless .
I love everything you showed us!!!
Loved this video so much. So much inspiration. And thrifting is the way to go especially if you have great thrift stores in your area! Love these “fashion” videos. They have become a favorite of mine.
What a blast, thoroughly enjoyed this fashion extravaganza! ☺️Linda, you just rocked ALL of these outfits, ALL very chic! And I agree with several of the other ladies commenting, very BoHo, very Ralph Lauren, very youthful and fun! Loved the Ann Taylor top and the botanical shirt, as well as the sweater and white pants! I think the second, darker shirt looked fabulous with the striped top! Loved the idea of the bathing suit cover for that great suit, you’ll look amazing in your sun-kissed glory!🌞🌞🌞 Thank you for your many stylish tips and inspiration, I love anything that involves thrifting!! Much affection from the city of Detroit! Linda Susan
Always love your thrift store shows. I love love love the botanical skirt outfit!
Loved your selection of printed skirt for the striped top! That will look great!!!!!
Wow!! What a haul! Everything is fabulous!! Love how you will style everything as well. My favorite is the sleeveless summer top! The blue dress is lovely! Love the stripe shirt with the darker background skirt also. You are set lady.
The bl/wh striped blouse is adorable with the black floral skirt!! Love the dresses!
Thrifting has become a trendy way to supplement your wardrobe inexpensively. It's great really because of the affordability and eco friendly result of things being recycled and getting a second life - and most of these places raise money for charitable uses. All this said, you wear your clothes very elegantly and have great taste - the darker floral skirt is definitely better with the striped top. I love that Stewart is your business partner and fashion critic! And you clearly rely on his opinion. Fun video!
I’ve never gone thrifting for clothes in my life, although I have been a serial supplier to thrift shops. You help me look at things differently. And yes, the second skirt. The Poshmark dress is divine. I’m going to go see what else I can let loose for the thrifting universe.
Wonderful share Linda!
So fun.
That long blue dress compliments your lovely blue eyes!!!
Linda love all the ideas, great finds! Love thrifting
That was really fun! Loved the star dress and the mustard top and skirt. Beautiful!
Everything looks great!
I had fun watching this video! I enjoy learning from others about styling clothing and accessories. Everything you showed us looked lovely and very stylish. Like you, I enjoy thrifting! To me, thrifting is akin to a treasure hunt. Who knows what one may find! Typically I'm not very label conscious unless I am thrifting. I look for clothing I normally would never spend the high dollars on when new, but am more than excited to pay the lower prices at a thrift store. Those kind of finds are my treasures!
Cute, cute, cute! I love watching you with your bargains from thrift shopping! You make my day😍
Such great finds and you have a gift for styling your clothes. What fun this video was!
Yes, I thrift shop for clothes every one or two weeks. Sometimes for something particular, sometimes I just enjoy going through the racks at leisure for fun. Love ALL the outfits, not as brave as you though and wouldn't mix prints. I enjoy people watching there too, alot of INTERESTING and fashion forward people. I always check the dresses as that is my go to wear in the summer. And as you say, you can wear them a few times, then re-donate!
