that means you're just hovering over the mullion, the tab key only works when mouse is over more than one object try moving a bit closer to the edge of the glass.
2012, now 2019, just learned Revit.. any idea why Autodesk didn’t improved these selection methods? Pressing tab and wait is just so backwards imho. Adding door should not be this difficult either. If they where able to do easily at masonry, it should be easily on curtain wall as well. Anyway.. when you pay expensive subscription sometimes you demand for improvements lol 😂

Are you in the folder that has all the doors installed by Revit ? If you're not you have to import the door into your project. If you are in the folder and nothing is there there is a chance that you either didn't install the library ( which would be strange) or you're in a similar folder that doesn't have anything in it. Hope that helps, feel free to follow up.
