So we are finally starting to realize that this whole thing didn’t start three weeks ago?
nonsense, no serious person on other side believed that. "Report on the State of Palestine presented to the Right Honourable Mr. Winston Churchill P.C., M.P. by the Executive Committee of the Third Arab Palestine Congress. Jerusalem, March 28, 1921."

You realize the man your watching tried to use his own forces to stop Hamas but couldn't and was ran out by them.
His movement and his ideas werent Hamas's Hamas is a much more extreme and religiously fundamental cult that ran over Palestinine with an obsession with creating marytrs and defeating Israel in its entirety.
I could spend time, derailing the palestinians position with facts in every individual conflict where I could point to a margin some times large, sometime much less so, where Israelis were correct.
But it's besides the point, was an organization that controlled Gaza, who's whole paragotive was killing Israeli civilians in mass, and hiding behind Gazan civilians. They had to be rooted out, for any hope of peace or prosperity in the region.
Most informed people are well aware that "This whole thing didn't start three weeks ago" - Google the"Balfour Declaration" and you'll be doing yourself a favour and, into bargain, proofing yourself against future embarrassment.
The gaslighting by the American reporter! “Why are you so suspicious of everything the United States does or tries to do in the Middle East?” Well we know now.

This is a generational war! 👌🏿
Sounds like the same strategic maneuvers for the past 40 years
Interesting how they did interviews back in the day.
One would ask a question, and then wait for the response without any interruption. Why doesn't modern media follow this format?
Love that name..."YASSER "
Jaja Abu Ammar 11:19
Palestinian saying the same thing in nov 23 and Arfat nobody seems to listen what Palestinian want
MB thank you
He was not an ideal man, but he worked hard, struggled, and tried a lot. This man tried to move his people from the stage of persecution and occupation to the stage of freedom and independence through struggle and peace, but Zionist intransigence and American-British complicity were an obstacle to achieving his dream of serving his people. May God have mercy on him and peace be upon his soul
Cordial pray for him.. May Allah grant him Jannatul ferduse..❤❤ for his ideality as a perfect peaceful Muslim leader

Oh this is the NATION?!!
He was prescient about 1 thing in this interview: settlement of this conflict cannot be achieved w/o the Palestinians. Which what the Abraham Accords tried to do. Side note: the interview was recorded in 1975 in Beirut/Lebanon where the PLO was a state within a state (similar to what Hizaballah is now). Pistol in the holster! Classic Arafat!
I need to understand this. I will do my best to

😮
Wow I totally forgot about him.
This is not yasser arafat
This was the drummer of the beatles
This is richard starkey AKA ringo starr
18:05 is mind boggling. They're accusing him of talking about a secular state where everyone lives side by side.
👍👊✌️。
THE HISTORY OF CENTRAL BANKING .. PLEASE READ THIS BOOK 😒 🤔
Suddenly they turn into bunch of Gangsters at 10:15
Gangster-mode power up at 12:45
Arafat is the Egyptian that started this so called "Palestinian" b.s. He made it all up.
17:10 "De-Zionization" means de-Colonialization and end to the nation/state of Israel. Said very plainly in 1975, and again today.
Arafat was a great man.
He was also the drummer of the beatles

Los gobernantes árabes están abrumados por la emoción y la ingenuidad.
Even though he was of Palestinian descent but born and raised in Egypt 🇪🇬 (mom side from Jerusalem while dad side was from Gaza) he was loved and hated (mostly hated) by his fellow Palestinian countrymen
Why was he hated by his own people?
@@pitolove3846 He had good intentions but his execution was terrible. He gave too much trust to a colonialist apartheid regime. Two states never happened. They were never interested after assassinating Rabin. Just look at the PA today, his legacy is one that turned into pure corruption and oppression of his own people.
@abdelnasser210he wasn’t hated until after the oslo accords
@abdelnasser210 al-aqsa martyrs still remained loyal to arafat, despite their more radical leanings. and his opposition included more than just hamas. it included other factions within the PLO, the people in the camps, the ones in the west bank who saw nothing come of it, and many individuals who'd otherwise be considered "moderates"
Mmmhh...Dear One World
These types of international relations world affairs have long been overdue now, unfortunately with only one section of the world with impunity for far too long now (the entire west) clearly unfairly playing both the active refree and the passive sponsor of the tournament all at the same time. It is an arena of global events on stage of world thietre that will for ever run devoid of due fairness and justice as long as the normal status quo goes untransformed from the usual conservative-traditional modus operandi to a more new world liberal-progressive approach to international state of afairs dealing. For far too long the world has witnessed the painfully bias monogomous championship of a world run by only a portion of its whole patispationship (by only America and Europe) while the rest of us only expected to silently watch from the bench in obedience albeit our possibly fair dissatisfaction. Today, still now in this age, the dominant America/Europe dictation to the game is emposed regardlessly and unabated. Pure and clear disenfrachisement of everyone else into the game...those who stand opposive to such, are ever islotated, sidelined, dealianed and elimited by all manners possible what the bosses' option. This and the rest hedgimonicism, should end. Good enough, today we preach the west democratic though imperial philosophical creed...the rule of law; the call for universal human rights and the global exercise of fair will of all who live on earth. All this will continue to be a one-side-based asernal of words, aimed to the less privileged of the world by their more self-privileged minority-conterparts of the same world. Countries go for regular elections to vote for who should govern their nations as part of the modern human socio-political dispensation...the rule of people for the people by the people... the principle of democracy. So, like to countries and individual nation, the same electoral despensational approach to democracy for the contest of world governance should be applicable. America and Europe can never be the world presidents for life. Together with them, let there be another ( free and fair )global sufforage additional to national election, for all other continents...Asia, Australia, North America and Africa to vote for who should rule and govern the world for a particular defined period similarly on regular basis. Only when this happens, the world will truly live upto its original devine supposed but merely man-preached creed..the renainsance of true democracy and freedom....for the sake of harmony and peace among the human race on earth. From Namibia, I rest my case.
He was a brave fighter they killed him by poisoning
So sad.
whats the deal with him speaking fluent english then needing a translater for other questions? Overall he was consistent in wanting everything, hoping the other side completely disappears, getting nothing for his ' people ' and dying with 2 billion in assets.
I think the time has come Palestinians need to be pragmatic...leaving in refugees camps and perpetual exiles give them no chance to achieve their dream.
What a great man, we both only argued once…over which goat we would take to bed
Nah..according to Mihai Pacepa ,the former Romanian official who trained him ,Arafat would take men to bed.
@@albertfromgc5599 ahh of course, my mistake
@@albertfromgc5599 I thought Israel was a beacon for Gay rights.
Yeah, but no West Bank.Arafat was in love with his bodyguard called Faisal. The only problem was, he did not use condomns ,so he got AIDS.To cover it up, the PLO invented the idea that he was irradiated by Israel .@@djones9881
This was as Israili lie. Muslims do NOT have homosexuality. That would be the atheist state of Zionism.
ARAFAT wanted it all, and he got nothing.
you don't get to do ethnic cleansing in modern time.
poor yasser, cry baby😂😂🤣🤣
Explain what u repeat!
Unfortunately much more than nothing -- he was handed by Israel all of the Gaza and chunks of Samaria & Judea in the form of areas A and B, not to mention tons of weapons and munitions, along with legitimization..
I don't know what planet you live on. I've been in Israel since long before anyone apart from the whacky left there even dreamed of importing Arafat and his gangs to parts of my ancestral land and giving them all of that.
He is the adult baby who never got his will 😂😂😂😂

He was a proud gay Palestinian.
Yes , and he died of aids (according to Mihai Pacepa's the former romanian communist sectet police officer who trained him).See the book "Red horizons"
Palestinians have a unique talent for wasting opportunities and choosing the very worst leaders (examples? Arafat, George Habash, Wadie Haddad, and now Hamas)!
There is no democratic tradition for electing leaders in the arab or muslim world. Whoever has power and money is the leader.
Lol, you think the outcome would be different if they had a different leader? Thats naive. Israel has all the power nothing will change unless the US applies pressure to Israel
Desert rat😮
The American regime know all about rats…..
Arafat blew the best chance at a 2 state solution the world will probably ever see. Not that Ehud Barak was great either. But the two of them and Clinton ran out of time. And the Palestinians “ALWAYS want one more thing (usually something completely unpalatable).
I’ll say at least Arafat saw his POTENTIAL role in history as a great man and Nobel prize winner - but in the end, he didn’t have the balls to achieve peace

‘Two State Solution’?
There is only one legitimate State and that is the State of Palestine. You cannot call another ‘synthetically created malignant tumour’ a State!
